This is mostly for me to look back on and see the moments that I caught my eye. Nothing analytical. I offer nothing to the table

I'm also a visual person so there's a lot of screenshots x

I'm so glad the opening credit is animated. Usually I have to put my phone down to enjoy the theme song without being spoiled. Plus it's so pretty

2. There's so much CGI, it's making my head hurt.

4. Ahh its Wang Yi Fei! I can totally see her and Mobei-Jun drinking together and talking about serving their demonic rulers. Maybe rant a little to each other

5. Some of these moments give me sci-fi vibes. Is this not technology?

6. Can be easily mistaken for an intergalactic overlord. Can he be categorised as one?

9. Luo Yunxi always looks so ethereal but now in a demonic way

15. Who's that character that gives another character a kiss on the forehead to protection them? I feel like Li Su Su must've gotten that when she was born or she is an ancient creature that has been reincarnated. I think.

16. For some reason I was thinking about Glinda. But she didn't kiss Dorothy on the forehead did she? Just told her to wear the red slippers.

17. He's also wearing some kind of lipstick. Probably everyone's "cult favourite" Clinique Black Honey.

29. Tantai Jin: (confusingly looking around) ...wtf just happened.

30. I like how he looks back at where Li Su Su was levitating seconds before getting zapped somewhere. Gives me the feeling that he might also travel back in time to stop her. Might disrupt Ye Xi Wu (Li Su Su) and pre Devil God Tantai Jin's relationship. Have a love triangle with himself. He might be jealous their relationship, wanting her for himself. Similar to that one extra scene in SVSSS. Just a thought. The background music adds to the tension.

31. I keep comparing him to Luo Binghe like I did in my first post about this drama 1 or 2 years ago. There are a few similarities between them as the drama continues.

I'm splitting Episode 1 into 2 parts cuz I said too much for the first 27 minutes of this drama. The first episode felt too rushed to me. Maybe that's just me but the pacing gets better afterwards.

Hopefully I write less in my other review posts. I struggle with being concise so probably not.
