Hard work is a perspective. Yet by definition it is simple. HARD: 1.) solid, firm, and resistant to pressure; not easily broken, bent, or pierced. 2.) requiring a great deal of endurance or effort. WORK: 1.) activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. 2.) mental or physical activity as a means of earning income; employment Combine them anyway you want, I would think hard work by deffiniton is pretty much life. I mean nobody wakes up not resisting death, every breath you take is a resistance. The difficult part is slowly climbing your mountain, slowly making progress, sometimes in the little things that will go unnoticed. Today everyone wants credit, recognition, I'll go so far as to say entitlement, for some attention. Well life doesn't work that way. Everything comes down to cause and effect. What and how we do things, who we spend time with and let influence us, and how we live matters. WÁRK WEDNESDAY: the dark 0700 #dark #rmt34 #session #warkethic @tyceruff hitting pause at the lab after morning appts and calls helping others start their day with purpose and trajectory. Lights off, a couple LEDs, a fire crackling in the background through the tv. Slowly the music rises, slowly the air becomes tense. Chalk is slapped between calloused hands, and a deep breath is audible, a bark erupts the silence. The sound of the iron repping starts a rhythm, the music matches the tempo and the WÁRK can be heard throughout the complex. From dark windows struggle, and warkethic can be heard.
