bingliushen being fuck buddies (bq havent figured out their feelings for lqg yet) w shangliu who had something going on back then is hilarious to me, not just bc of the cumplane bit, but also bc i imagine sqh looks a LOT like lbh and one night lqg accidentally mistook him for sqh in the low light (he just woke up with lips pressed against his and could only see his curly haired silhouette, give him a break)

lbh is so offended bc, really, sqh?? why him? then he starts overthinking bc why him???? why would you think of him when IM kissing you, shishu???? has he done this to you before?! no, hes not jealous! just- why him?!

sqq is bewildered bc, srsly, sqh?? who could mistake the protagonist for that hack?

in the end, lqg had to explain that they slept together before, and bingqiu are astonished, bc, lqg? with sqh?? oh shidi/shishu... (their blood is boiling w rage and jealousy rn)

Binghe is SO jealous about this (and yk what why not Yue Qingyuan as well)

In fact (almost) any ship on either side gets jealous. (Forgive me if I don't use the right ship names. I don't pay enough attention to remember them all but I'm trying.)

A whole bunch of situations under the cut. I'm realizing now most of it is Shen Yuan focused which makes sense cus he's my favorite but I'm gonna try to get some Shang Qinghua action in there he deserves it. (Also won't be discussing any ships with cumplane for the simple reason that whoever the other character(s) in that relationship are, they're gonna get dragged into eating with cumplane. No jealousy for you. You're dating both of them. Oh also no Luo Binghe. It's jealousy no matter what for him. Same reason every time) (Oh and since I do start rambling about ship names in the tags and talk a little about em in the actual post. Quick lil reminder that this blog isn't for minors ^^)

Scumcum? "The rat is making Shen Yuan horrible food and Shen Yuan is happy???? About the horrible food??????????"

Moshang? "Qinghua doesn’t cook for me >:(" (Mobei Jun never asks)

Scumplane? "How dare Shen Yuan experience gifts from Shang Qinghua. Yes, I hate the food and would not eat it if he made it for me. No, Shen Yuan is not allowed to eat it even if he likes it."

Liushen? Pretty annoyed that Shang Qinghua is infringing on his gift giving method (SQH is sourcing some pretty strange beasts/plants for some of the flavors)

Qijiuyuan? They enable each other's jealousy. YQY is like: "but I Shen Yuan to share all his odd enjoyments with me :(." While SQQ is just the same as the scumcum thing but with more jealousy cus "look you're making Yue Qingyuan sad."

Warplane? It's like... Shang Qinghua is re-gifting the gifts Liu Qingge already gave him... like yeah he's using them but there's some weird feelings about it. (This would probably turn into... what cumwarplane? warcumplane? warplanecum? all of these are awful ship names I love them.)

Yueyuan? (Yuan Squared...) Kind of depends on if Shen Yuan is seen as Shen Jiu by Yue Qingyuan/if Shen Yuan is Shen Jiu or if Shen Yuan is known to be a different person than Shen Jiu. But in the first scenario I think Yue Qingyuan would be angsty about it. Like he wants to do everything for Shen Jiu but apparently cooking is something he doesn't get to do for him. The second situation... honestly maybe no jealousy? Idk Yueyuan in that situation is so hard to explore cus Yue Qingyuan is kind of like... so devoted to Shen Jiu. The only way I think it would end up working is if either YQY has healed or if the Yueyuan relationship is exceedingly toxic... in which case the jealousy is really bad. (If you've got ideas chuck them at me. I don't care if they're OOC... I just want ideas for this)

This somehow spins into wife beam victim therapy sessions cooking lessons with Shang Qinghua. And yet Shen Yuan still hangs out with Shang Qinghua under the guise that his cooking is better just cus he wants to hang out with a friend :3

I should be writing course work, I should, but, but I want to write this au wah- anyway, one shot

Liu Qingge blinked slowly, looking at the short, cute man sitting on the chair beside the bed he's currently in. From what he understood from the healer, Mu Qingfang, that left some time ago for more medicine, Liu Qingge was hit by a pollen of a flower that leads to temporary amnesia.

"Really, Liu-shidi, do you understand what could have happened if nobody found you?" Whined the short man, who introduced himself as Shang Qinghua earlier, while pouting. "And the damages you did again after being lead back?"

While Shang Qinghua fell into a rant about how many documents it will take to fix it all, the budget adjustment etc, Liu Qingge tilted his head to the side.

From what he currently understood, Shang Qinghua, A-hua?, was the one who stayed beside him to make sure he'll wake up alright, he's also the one who does Liu Qingge reports, taxes and fills out all important documents that Liu Qingge normally should do.

Liu Qingge humms softly as Shang Qinghua continues his rant, before he leans forward and lands his head on Shang Qinghua's shoulder, nuzzling there gently, making the shorter man squeak and shudder, sputtering something that Qingge doesn't pay attention to.

From all the context clues, Liu Qingge deducted that he and Shang Qinghua are surely together, married for sure, since Shang Qinghua does all the paperwork for him and is worried about him very much. His arms sneak up on Shang Qinghua's back, tugging the smaller male into his lap so he can cuddle him.

While Liu Qingge nuzzles and cuddles Shang Qinghua, the smaller male sits frozen, confused, because haha what? Why is Liu Qingge hugging him? Liu-shidi what are whispering about? Shang Qinghua as your wife?! Shidi! Wrong conclusion!

Mu Qingfang walked in this moment into the room, pausing upon seeing what is happening, before taking few steps back, ignoring the look that asks for help from Shang Qinghua. Mu Qingfang walks away, thinking where did he hid that one bottle of alcohol that can knock out a heavenly demon? He needs it.
