INDICATORS OF WEALTH IN A NATAL CHART

The people have spoken! You guys chose the topic of wealth and prosperity so here we go. This is an extended translation of my article for Wróżka magazine 12/2024.

The topic of money in astrology is usually associated with Venus and Jupiter because these are planets that are linked with luck - additionally, the former rules finances and luxury, while the latter rules honors, wealth, abundance and prosperity. If someone has well-placed Venus and Jupiter, that is the first step towards luck and consequently with luck specifically in finance.

Other aspects in a natal chart are just as important. Mercury, as the planet of accounting and resourcefulness brings a knack for money. Well-placed Mars gives ability in directing your energy where it should be - that means, easiness in putting ideas into action. Similarily Saturn, which can bring a good stable income - with blood, sweat and tears that is. This is also a planet that rules authority, time, discipline and commitment, which often is the key to wealth.

Sun, on the other hand, can endow the person with talent for entrepreneurship and charisma as well as leadership qualities, which can definitely help in business matters. Uranian abruptness may bring sudden income of money, while Pluto, as the planet of power and clout, often brings ability to influence masses - that can also lead to wealth.

SIGNS MATTER

Now when it comes to signs, those can play a role as well. Generally fire signs are more willing to go out there, show their talents and show themselves. This is often the first step to success, depending what field you're in of course, I guess this will be more accurate for folks that are in creative fields or who are on stage or work in entertainment. We'll look at a Leo stellium example that portrays that perfectly later on.

Earth signs are mostly known for being great at managing resources and just being focused on the material world in general. Especially Capricorns who will do anything to accomplish big things and who always aim for stability in life. Unless they're show-offs and like to spend their money on useless things. I've seen that with my own eyes A LOT. Taurus folks like luxuries as well so this can go both ways lol.

Air signs are probably the most innovative, generally speaking that is. They may actually jump from ideas to ideas; from jobs to jobs which can bring them quite a lot of money in turn. They also know how to network, especially around other influental and wealthy people… they know their ways.

Water signs aren't necessarily known for money management BUT if you have exalted Pisces Venus or exalted Cancer Jupiter, you may have a bit (or a lot!) more luck in life in general. Scorpio Mars on the other hand has a lot of willpower and is stubborn af so that placement can bring success as well.

JUPITER-PLUTO

The so-called aspect of millionaires. Take Bill Gates, who was born during a tight Jupiter-Pluto conjunction, which is placed in his 2nd house of finance. The planet of welath and luck paired with the planet of power are one of the most striking and literal examples we have.

A simmilar example is a billionaire Warren Buffet, who got reach through stock market. In his chart the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction is placed in his 8th house of other people's money. And that is exactly how he earns so much money - by investing in various companies owned by other people. Additionally, his 2nd house is occupied by Saturn in Capricorn, where it's in domicile - that means it's strongly placed. His Venus on the other hand, is in Libra (also in its own sign). The planet of money is placed right on his MC - this accentuates that his career is strongly linked with finances. Impressive, isn't it? I love literal astrology.

Obviously massive wealth can come from other people as well. Lisa Marie Presley earned millions from inheritance. Elvis' daughter received a 100 million dollars. Her chart does have a Jupiter-Pluto influence but it's rather a co-presence of both of the planets in the same sign in the 2nd house, not a tight conjunction. But hey, apparently it still counts! But what's more important is that Jupiter rules her 8th house of iheritance. And, may I add, she got the money on her 25. birthday - so as soon as she stepped into her 2nd house profection year. FAME AND A WEALTHY PARTNER

Okay and what about nepo babies? Brooklyn Beckham has wealth written all over his chart. The son of posh spice and Becks has strong domicile Mars in the 2nd house in Scorpio. That's our step one. Our step two is that the ruler of his 4th house (parents) is placed in the 8th house (inheritance). Step three is that Brooklyn has a magnificent Mercury-Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the 7th house of partnership. Now that conjunction in itself is charged with luck and prosperity, no matter what house it's placed. But because it's on his descendant, it also brought him a wealthy wife - Nicola Peltz, who was also born into a millionaire family. So this is also a good example of a partner's portrait in a chart. And so, Brooklyn got his money not only from his parents but also from his spouse. Double win, I guess?

Okay but what if you get money from your partner only? I'm going to give you an example of a Polish journalist Omenaa Mensah, who married a billionaire. She was born on a New Moon in Leo and also with Mercury and Jupiter co-present in the sign. That stellium is placed in her 11th house of aspirations, honors and - this one's important - networking. First of all, this screams success on its own, especially in the sign of Leo, which is very media-friendly. And our homegirl was on tv. But thanks to her personal success in career she got to meet her now husband. She was looking for a sponsor for her charity work and this is how she found the guy. She said it was love at first sight, which imho is kinda cute.

Her 2nd house of finance and 7th house of partnership are both ruled by Mars, which lays in her 9th house of prosperity. And this is where you should pay attention to the planet that rules two different houses as it may link those together.

When it comes to her 2nd house, she has it occupied by Uranus, which brought her a sudden surprise in the form of a wealthy partner. When it comes to transits, the couple met when she had Uranus transiting her 7th house and was going through a Jupiter return. All of this formed a grand trine between her natal placements. So, Uranus was the cupid's bow, while Jupiter was pure luck.

BRIGHT MIND LEADS TO SUCCESS

Steve Jobs had 2nd house ruler, Venus, in opposition to Jupiter and Uranus. This is quite important because Jupiter is also known for multiplying everything it touches. So if we have Venus, the planet of money in a hasrh aspect with wanton Jupiter, then this can bring an overabundance of money.

With his chart we can also illustrate where that money came from. Jupiter paired with Uranus is known for a bright mind and huge creativity - especially when it comes to craftmanship. That is because Uranus rules invention and technological advancements. Jupiter adds knowledge (don't forget it rules knowledge as well!) and luck in endeavours. What's interesting is that Venus, which is placed in his 5th house also talks about where his money came from. Well as it turns out, majority of his income was not from Apple but from Pixar! He bought the animation company from George Lucas in 1986. And as we know, Pixar makes movies aimed mostly for children. So, the planet that rules his house of money is placed in a house linked with children and creativity. How nice.
