This is also from November of last year.

Now that his father's been all picked out, and both of his parents have gotten shiny new designs, I figured it was time to give Graystripe an updated look as well - I ended up changing most of his colors to better fit his parents.  So here's Firestar's best friend and trusted deputy, and a very long-lived cat indeed, Graystripe.  Both of his parents are beanpoles and pretty pale in color, so I imagine he got his darker fur and thicker build from grandpa Adderfang.  Otherwise, though, I tried to give him a lot from his parents in his design - especially Thrushpelt.

Here is the reverse side of his design - as well as a look at the stripe on his back from above.

For his physical description, Graystripe is described as a big tom with a torn left ear and shaggy fur. He's got basically the same look as before, a big, solidly built, long and shaggy-furred tom. I actually gave him his torn ear this time, and his scars have shifted around a bit, but overall he looks pretty similar to before. I did add a few things to make him look like his parents - he has the droopier cheek fur from his dad, and he's got some tufts to his ears now, since both of his parents have them. I made them smaller than either of his parents', though, since he was never really described with them.

For his pattern, he's described as a solid dark gray tom with a stripe of darker gray fur running down his back and yellow eyes. He's a darker (and less brownish) shade of his dad's gray fur, with a darker fade on his back like Thrushpelt had on his tail, and of course his famous dark stripe running down his back, which is pretty thin most of the way down but thickens on the tail. His lighter belly and face markigns are very similar to his father's, with the same little dark marks above his eyes as his dad's as well. His ear tufts, however, are a lighter color more like his mom's. His yellow eyes aren't really from anyone, so I just picked a random shade for them.

Overall, I'm really happy with how this turned out.
