Scissor Twirling ✂️
I was outside for a few minutes to see the solar eclipse!
this was a gobsmackingly cool 1950s building in Melbourne Australia, I saw it once just before it was demolished ... was around 1988ish possibly 87? I Think the opening credits of the 60s cop show, Homocide, used this as a backdrop?
So my DnD group has an ongoing joke of "if only we had a cleric" and similar sentiments. On it's own that doesn't sound weird, but they often do this in response to me mentioning or sharing art of one of my characters. Who is a cleric.
So how'd this start?
Well, one person decided to run a oneshot-turned-threeshot around Halloween in order to test his CR 30 Fatalis statblock he homebrewed. All players were level 20 for this.
I made my character, Eirril. 17 levels in Twilight Cleric, 3 levels in Scout Rogue. I highly recommend the cleric/rogue multiclass btw.
This character was swift and hard to pin down and get rid of. I used a lot of the rogue features to keep up with the boss and whatnot. And I guess this made him seem very un-cleric like. The Kobold gunslinger at one point goes "man if only we had a cleric" after someone got a particularly hard hit.
I thought he was just being funny, so I laughed. Later, something else happened and I went "good thing I'm a cleric! I've got [insert feature or spell]."
THIS GUY LEGIT GOES "oh wait you're a cleric?!" LIKE I HADN'T BEEN CASTING CLERIC SPELLS THE WHOLE TIME. DUDE THOUGHT I WAS A PALADIN.
Anyway the Fatalis knocked all of us out but we got it to 20 HP so it was super close but now Eirril is haunted by people pretending he isn't a cleric forever.
good GOD I need to move to Europe ASAP
Finally played among us today and I understand why it's so addictive lol. It was super fun and I ended up playing a bunch of games with a really chill group. It's a great game.
See…
(Well, first off, look at this fashion shot XD) But even from here, you can see the difference, and when they get closer…
… Jin’s are just this circle-y thing, inset in his head, looking perfect normal. For… An android ear substitute, I guess. They look whole. On the other hand…
… The side of Horobi’s face is visibly cracked, and they look kinda like the interior of a circuit board or something. Like a radio or electric toy when you rip the casing off. The shape looks like it’d match the earpieces of the other Hiden HumaGears we’ve seen:
This makes it highly likely that either Horobi removed them himself, or someone else did.
(That was the best shot I could find atm, I’m sure there’s better ones)
(s for the first three pics)
