The book I was working on in November - the one I wrote sitting across from you at that coffee shop table - is starting to be put into the world today. I’m trying my best to cater the book to reflect the things you loved and valued. I worked on this project with you at my side, supporting me the whole way, and I want you to know that I didn’t quit. Not even after I lost you.

You’d probably call some lines corny, but you always told me how proud you were of my writing. You were always finding little ways to support my craft, but the biggest one was just being you.

This one’s for you, sis. Because while Sweet Charlotte is a love letter from Willow to Charlotte, this is a love letter from me to you. You’re my Charlotte. You’re the girl I’m forever chasing.
