when when nothing happens or whatever
Journalist : Hello, you guys are ?
Dick : Hungry!
Jason : Betrayed!
Cass : Bored.
Tim : Tired.
Duke : Anxious...
Damian : Outraged.
Bruce politely smiling : We're the Wayne family.
Wayne kids : Oh.
The Wayne Kids art i made based of my take on a trend on tiktok
Ft. Three apples tall Damian
how for entirely separate reasons the Wayne kids all became immortal
— Jason: the universe considered his death a bug and fixed it (because of Superboy Prime punching the fabric of reality or sth). Death hasn’t sticked ever since.
— Damian: Lazarus juice in his veins, vroom vroom
— Tim: this one is on purpose from his part, actually. Young Justice found a technology to stase him at 17 years old because from statistical evidence adult Tim will turn out to be a world-threatening supervillain
— Dick: jury’s still out whether the universe actively keeping him alive is out of love for him or out of fear of his dad going batshit insane and destroying all existing reality upon his death
— Cass: skill issue on death’s part, really.
honorable mention for Duke whose adoption status I don’t remember and whose meta power makes him the schrodinger cat of immortals
(Masterlist)
Batkids playing any kind of board game but make it extra competitive because whoever wins gets to choose what Bruce wears for the next gala.
Bruce, in a sparkly top and skinny jeans:
Reporter: Ah, who chose your outfit tonight, Brucie?
Bruce: That'd be my eldest, dear!
Dick, behind him, full into the gala persona: Flattering, isn't it? He should wear it more often, don't you think, sweetheart?
Reporter, flushed: Oh, absolutely.
Bruce (to Dick): Get a new fashion style. Please.
Dick: Never.
Reporter: Who would be responsible for your wardrobe tonight, Brucie? It's certainly a statement.
Bruce, head to toe in a pink suit and Hello Kitty accessories: Gorgeous, isn't it? All the credit will have to be given to Jason, though, I'm afraid.
Reporter: Your second son, if I'm not mistaken?
Bruce: The very one.
Jason from across the gala hall, trying to not cough up his drink with laughter:
Tim, next to him: He's pulling it off, though. Little spins and everything.
Jason: Still ridiculous. That's Batman right there, Timbo.
Tim, snickering: The Dark Knight, huh?
Bruce, dressed in a collared white shirt, sweater and skirt, looking like he just came out of a light academia novel:
Reporter: Wow, Brucie. Who do we thank for that wonderful outfit choice?
Bruce: Ah, flattering, is it not? Tim's choices when it comes to fashion are wonderful, if not a bit simple.
Tim, nodding from behind him: Only the finest satin skirts. Charming, right?
Tim, to Bruce: Don't call my style simple, Mr. all I wear is black.
[Jason handing Dick $10 in the background because Bruce does, in fact, pull off a skirt.]
Reporter: Oh lord, what a gown! Who influenced your fashion choice tonight, Brucie?
Bruce, in a long green and black gown with gold accessories, nothing short of royal-looking: I fear only one person I know could choose an outfit as gorgeous as this one.
Damian, proudly next to him, in a smaller, matching gown: Only the most exquisite. You lot in this flimsy country cannot compare.
Bruce: Yes, Damian has a fine taste in fashion. He gets it from his mother.
Damian, quieter: Well certainly not from you.
Bruce, dressed in an elegant white dress shirt, long black pants and a corset with red accessories, a fan in his right hand:
Reporter: What an entrance! Anyone to give credit to for the wardrobe, Brucie?
Bruce: That'd be my daughter, she certainly shines with her choice of clothing.
Cass, grinning with a matching fan: Very pretty.
Bruce: Thank you, Cass.
Reporter: Woah, that's certainly new. Any reason for this choice of clothes, Brucie, dear?
Bruce, in a snapback cap, loose jeans and a band t-shirt, complete with rings and a chain around his neck: Well, all of my children are creative, but... Duke might just take the cake for this one, love.
Duke, losing his absolute shit next to Jason, Dick and Tim: You look great, B.
Steph doesn't usually go to galas, but she participates in the game nevertheless. If she wins, god help Bruce, because it's a gamble with her. He either ends up wearing a gorgeous outfit with eccentric and trend-setting accessories or literal checkered pyjamas. Worst yet, he has to say he picked it himself, since he can't directly blame Steph.
i dislike “batboys” because a lot of the times it feels like an excuse to exclude either steph from the robins club or cass from the wayne kids club. i get that sometimes you just want to talk about brother dynamics but i also get the feeling that some of you just didn’t want to include or straight up forgot the girl in the group
Fave brothers !!
Gotham’s favorite time is when the Wayne family participate in the Olympics. The first time was around when Tim made it into the Wayne family. It was insane online for months, why was this family so fucking athletic?
Bruce was booking it in the Decathlon one time, he hasn’t done it much since that one year but from what they’ve heard he’s participated with each of his kids in their designated area, coaching them and in the front and first person to cheer for all of them.
Dick was already known to be a acrobat but witnessing his skill live/online is a whole different experience, it had to be inhuman with how his body bent, some even speculated he may have been meta, but after a few interviews it seems that his constant training since he was a small circus boy have kept him completely like water.
Jason was a boxing like crazy, no opponent stood as much of a chance, few could dodge a bit more than others but nothing stopped the inevitable takedown of his competition, once he returned after his long absence he participated in shooting, something they didn’t expect from him save for the people online saying “omg he def gave the vibe”
Tim did skateboarding, the most surprising thing really, there had been no prior knowledge of the skill set minus that he’s done fencing, it was stated before that the sport was practiced since he was younger (originally for his parents to show off) and he just happened to pick it up again (leaving out the fact he swung a baton around a few too many times as both Robin and Red Robin).
Cassandra took place in only karate (she debated doing more but she wanted to watch her siblings games and it would’ve made a hectic schedule) and there wasn’t even a question, she took her opponents down faster than Jason could knock down his own in boxing.
Steph being acknowledged as a family friend and closer friend of Tim was tossed with the bunch as well, doing boxing as well (she took the Gold for that one).
Duke was included, being Bruce’s foster ward, and did the swim! Butterfly strokes were on point if he must say so himself (got him that gold didn’t it?)
And the most recent contestant was the one Damien Wayne, fencing, his opponents originally underestimated his skills, being a child and all, but that quickly changed once he won round after round until there was none left to compete against.
The Wayne’s (+ an eccentric brown) bringing home Gold from each sport they played was not on Gotham’s 2025 bingo card that’s for sure.
When Bruce Wayne shares a picture of all of them sporting their medals in their Olympic uniforms, each with different levels of joy and confidence—the internet crashes for the next hour.
