thinking about how in Rogue Nation we see Ethan at his scruffiest
full beard because he hasn't seen any of his friends in six months so has given up shaving. we see him working out because his body is his tool but everything else is superfluous and he doesn't have time to keep up appearances
then we learn Benji won the opera tickets and is headed to Vienna, and the very next time we see Ethan he looks like this
big "gonna see my man for the first time in six months gotta look good" vibes
