Disney Branded Television Has Promoted Sarah Finn To SVP Of Production Of Disney Television Animation As Studio Focuses More With An All Female Lead Leadership
Disney Television Animation has promoted longtime Disney exec Sarah Finn to SVP, Production, from her most recent VP role.
Finn will now be responsible for leading all of the physical production for the Disney Television Animation studio’s content for Disney+, Disney Junior and Disney Channel. She reports to Meredith Roberts, SVP/general manager, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television.
Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television, said, “Sarah has a comprehensive knowledge of animation production, keen attention to artistic and practical details and strong people management skills. Now, as Meredith’s second-in-command, our entire team gets the benefit of their talent and dedication to upholding the most revered animation legacy in the world.”
Series under Finn’s new remit include the upcoming Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Alice’s Wonderland Bakery,Hailey’s On It, Kiff ,Primos, Untitled Preschool Treasure Hunter Time Traveler Series,The Witchverse, Point Grey Pictures Darkwing Duck and Firebuds, as well the critically acclaimed The Wonderful World Of Mickey Mouse, the Daytime Emmy-winning and Annie Award-nominated comedy Big City Greens, the Annie Award-nominated The Ghost and Molly McGee, and the Peabody Award-winning The Owl House.
Finn will also oversee the work from Disney TVA’s sister studio Disney Junior Educational Resource Group who includes the upcoming series Pupstruction, Eureka as well as current shows like the critical acclaimed Mira Royal Detective,The Chicken Squad,Puppy Dog Pals and T.O.T.S. Tiny Ones Transport Service as well the collaboration with sister studios Marvel Studios with Spidey And His Amazing Friends and The Muppets Studio Muppet Babies

Finn joined Disney in 2013 and served as VP Production since 2020. Before that, she served as executive director, Disney Television Animation. before that she served as development director at the now defunct Disney Digital Network studio with projects like Legend Of The Three Caballeros and Muppet Babies 2018 as well on the development of now canned projects from DDN like Fantasia The Series, Oswald The Lucky Rabbit The Series, Silly Symphonies and series focused on Jimny Cricket, The Seven Dwarfs, Cheshire The Cat, & Mr Toad
