My thoughts on kingdon age gap.

From what I understand about how doctor education works, there is some age gap between them, i couldnt find actual ages for both of them, but form what seems to be the word from other posts and fandom stuff it can range form like 2 to 3 years to like 5 or 6.

I dont think thats really a bad thing, once your older age ages matter less and a few years really isn't anything.

My brother currently is in grad school, many people go back to grad school later in life or after taking a few hear off from school. So ages vary. He tells me a lot about how it really matters what stage of life youre in rather than the actual age of people. Friend and romantic partners.

Anyway going forward i think that Mel and Langdon are at similar points in life. Mel discovering and becoming her own person and Langdon having a transformation after going through rehab. And if we are correct, going through a divorce.

They both are facing times where they have to change and let go of the past, their anxieties and focus on themselves. Even with frank back at work and clean, he has to change a lot in his life and if he does have ADHD ( I know he mentioned it but its hard to tell if that was more joking or more serious) there is probably a lot of life changes and habit changes that will be hard. My whole family has ADHD and my therapist told me that a lot of the time people with it struggle with addiction more. (If this wrong like idk this is what I was told my therapist at the time was just someone getting their doctorate in that and I was paying them under the table to talk to during covid) So i feel liek they both are on journeys and can relate to each other a lot. Maybe even help one another.

Like maybe over the next two seasons they go through those changes and get together during that or after that if we really doing to slow burn.

I sk want a really slow burn but I worry that like many shows now a days it could get cancled dispite popularity and leave us without ever resolving it.

i have such a bad habit when it comes to fanfiction, and it’s that whenever i get the actual Plot going and I’m about to get to all of the things that i make fancy Animatics of in my head, i psych myself out about it. just full on screeching stop. fizzle into dust.
