Platonic Possible Moments for Kingdon As Their Relationship Evolves:
(Some probably already talked about, written about it but indulge me and let me just gush✌🏼)
- Frank’s head kisses. I think as a fandom we can agree that Frank is probably very tactile and touchy…the almost touch on Mel’s knee during ep 2.2 is someone holding back a reflexive move. But he reserves head kisses for those he really cares about. Abby used to hate it (complained it messed up her hair) so he loves it a little too much that Mel seems to just melt into him when he does. Usually after a shift as a greeting as they walk together to his car. Or just an overall greeting he likes to default to.
- Carpooling. Yes we will get a damn carpool scene. Also a picking up Becca carpool scene. And it will have a callback to season one moment but this time Langdon persuades Becca to try another movie besides Elf.
- Langdon gets Mel’s attention by pulling on her braid. Add in a Dana and the pittlings bombastic side eye when they first see him do it. Especially when Mel doesn’t even look from her charting and already knows it’s Langdon.
- Langdon calling her Melissa. Esp during some crisis because he’s both scared and angry at something she’s decided to do.
- Langdon kids coming to the ER somehow and both immediately running to their “Mellie!!” and having Penny want uppies.
- Mel and Langdon tying each others surgical/protective gowns on.
- Langdon wiping Mel’s glasses for her when it accidentally gets blood on it somehow and then putting it back on her face for her.
- Hugs…so many hugs!!
- Langdon playfully/ gently poking at Mel’s scrunched nose or worried eye brow to calm her down.
- as per Dana in ep 2 this season, everyone also knows that Langdon is Mel’s safe person so whenever something bad happens involving Mel, it’s an immediate “does Langdon know?” “Someone call/text Langdon” “get Langdon!”
- Mel gently rubbing Langdon back when it acts up
- scene where Langdon goes rabid angry bc his Mel is in danger/hurt. Like how angry he got with Santos during the ice bath scene but by the 100th power. He wasn’t as nearly angry enough during ep 2 this season, but also their relationship hasn’t evolved yet so he gets a pass.
