I don't have a diagnosis worthy connective tissue disorder, but I do have ligaments lax enough that I sprained my knee by getting into my car in a slightly sub-optimal fashion.
This is fine.

I hate being disabled when other people rely on me
I'm living with my sibling's family and we're all disabled in this house. It was decided that we all needed to have some chore responsibility a while back and I offered to do dishes since, of the unclaimed chores left, that's one I know I'm efficient at doing.
I'm supposed to do them every day between 8 and 8, so I don't disturb the quiet. Only thing is that everyone's not exactly on that schedule, so if I come down at 9 or so to do them and they're still asleep, I don't want to disturb their rest with dishes noise. They told me if it's the middle of the day and they're sleeping to just do them anyway though. Unfortunately, I also have a hard time staying on any kind of schedule because of disability and sleep problems and ADHD and, ya know, life.
I should have done the dishes this morning. They're backed up and the whole right sink is full but I fell asleep at 11am and now it's past 8 and they're sleeping. I feel so fucking unreliable and shitty. I wish I had the energy to do them before they get backed up. I was planning to do them last night but then I had to take over cooking dinner and that took a lot out of me and, it seems like every time any kind of house cleaning or shopping trips come up, dishes end up low on the priority list. Then they get backed up and they're even harder to manage.
I feel so in over my head. I don't know how to balance work and chores and sleep and I barely have the energy or brain focus lately to do anything for myself.
Everything is so fucking exhausting.
Knee Problems
Knee problems happen when you injure or develop disease in your knee and it can’t do its job. Your knee is the joint where the bones of the upper leg meet the bones of the lower leg, allowing hinge-like movement while providing stability and strength to support the weight of your body. Flexibility, strength, and stability are needed for standing and for motions like walking, running, crouching,…

Work destroyed me yesterday! I worked from 3:30am- 12pm and
When I got home I was in so much pain from my feet to my knees. My right hip too was so out of wack.
Who else is into normalizing chronic joint pain??? *finger guns and wrists cramp up*
Ugh I’m so terrified that my heart murmur is getting more serious. It’s always had that potential, and I seem to be noticing random chest pains more and my heart fluttering but honestly I’m a hypochondriac and it could be just because I’ve been thinking about it. I really really hope not, doctors terrify the shit out of me (like legit I have panic attacks before going in for physicals) and the thought of serious heart troubles really freak me out. And besides, if I actually end up on meds for all the fucked up stuff in my head its gonna suck to pay medical bills for that.
Though I did check webmd (like an idiot i know) and it says that its usually harmless unless I’m elderly, so chances are this is a combo of me binding more often + me projecting symptoms onto myself + just the fact that yeah my heart does skip beats occassionally + i really dont eat the healthiest
With a name like Death Rattle, my first tendency was to expect some black metal or supremely heavy hardcore rock music from this British duo. That assumption couldn't be further from the truth. Instead, Death Rattle gives us dark, haunting electropop music, with their single Weak Joints immediately reminded me of Ben Khan and Jai Paul, but mixed with the enchanting sounds of many Scandinavian electropop acts I like, ie. NONONO, Kate Boy, and many others. Weak Joints is a confident, grand, and vivacious affair. It's off the duo's forthcoming debut album, In Shade.
Haven't done squats in a while and in the first 10, I heard my leg and ankle joints crack at least five times :/
