change sucks! :(

what you consider your strength today will become your weakness tomorrow. what got you here won't take you where you want to go next. we're all very good at justifying our own actions - for example - "thank god i went to music school/ studied design/ stayed on for that sucky job or else i wouldn't have these skills." but there are people who didn't study music, nor design and who did leave that job. they're essentially saying the same thing - "thank god i didn't do it."

change sucks! :( it disrupts your routine, threatens to destroy what you know/ believe in. you run the risk of going back to square one. this is scary - and understandably so. yet, that's exactly what we need.
