In order to stop Red Ronin's rampage in the city, the mutants - Cable, Chamber and Wolverine have to race against time to defeat the giant robot and the pilot. Also, Deadpool wants to fight the giant robot and be part of the group but he's late to the party.
Weapon X-Men v2 #4, 2025
Happy pride to whoever drew this panel of John Proudstar
Grahh not 1000% happy but had to draw my fave exes in their new weapon xmen get ups
Just under a week until Weapon X-Men! I'm so excited to finally see Chamber in a series again, and with such a small team they can't ignore him. I've followed Joe Casey's blog for a few months now and I'm happy to see someone who has specific plans for Chamber moving forward. I'm also hoping that having Deadpool, Wolverine, and Cable will bring in lots of readers and series will do well. Then maybe Chamber popularity will rise and I can make some friends lol.
Zombie Wolverine’s FINAL FATE is a CRUEL JOKE! 🥦🥬
hello hello.... opinions on issue one of weapon x-men....
I can only really speak on the Chamber parts of the issue (as i only have eyes for my Jono) however i thought that joe casey did my boy justice but i always feel i can trust joe casey with chamber lol
I loved how he was actually given some time to shine instead of being relegated to just blasting someone then doing nothing for the rest of the issue (like many of his recent appearances)
not to mention chris cross drew chamber so well, and checked all my boxes (hooked nose, sunken eyes, and face cracks).
the story did leave me feeling a little confused at times, but i feel that could either be because i didnt focus much hard on the chamber-less parts (sorry 🫣) or because they'll be answered in the next issue.
TL;DR, the Jono characterization and treatment was on point (as expected of joe casey), i was a little lost but hopefully that'll be rectified soon
In 5-7 days I should have my own shiny copy of this bad boy. The variant cover of Weapon X-Men #1 by Mark Brooks that I totally didn't just buy on a whim because I happened upon it. I may never open this book, but I will frame it and put it on my wall with my other Chamber covers. My Chamber shrine is coming along nicely lol.
