Facebook deleted my callout post for censoring the non-binary community. This is not ok. #wearevalid #nonbinary #stopcensorship #lgbtq https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz_hq47nnne/?igshid=mlks68wg0nd8
I'm not up for a big art post this afternoon. I'm a little worried I'm getting sick. I'm hoping it's just continued jet-lag con-crash.
But! I did take pictures of everything so it's just a matter of getting all the links straight and remembering why I have some of these business cards. I grabbed a lot of cards on the fly in leu of getting more things.
Anyway! What I am up to showing you is my wearable art haul. Buttons, pins, pendants... Oh my!
From Fandom Flare Buttons or, as we affectionately referred to her: The Button Lady. Her booth was a button collector's dream. So many fandoms, so little time! We returned at least four times and I bought something every time we went in.
Inki Drop had the cutest stuff, but these enamel pins haunted me after our first walk through. They tempted me on the second round. I couldn't pass them up on the third.
My favorite Pokemon is the Lapras. And, while you can occasionally find merch for her... She's just not as popular as the other Pokemon. So when I saw this lapras merry-go-round enamel pin at Small Rini Lady's booth there wasn't even a choice. I had to have it.
Valid had all sorts of pride gear. I passed up this prendant once, but snapped it up on another round. I'm looking forward to making a necklace for it. The fellow running the booth was quick to inform me there was also a demisexual dragon pendant!
Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me remember the name of the shop where I got this one. I was helping keep track of a little Pikachu at the time, so I think I can be forgiven. Hopefully, somewhere in my stack of cards there's one that goes with this. If I find it, I'll come back and link to the shop.
Bonus, my loot photography "helper":
Trans with Ed
I want to acknowledge everyone in the trans community with an eating disorder that you are valid! You deserve recovery and you deserve health care providers that are involved in understand the extra layer of our eating disorders and be willing to help make the change that our community needs to be able to properly treat our ed! The fact is that it is not understood well but that does not mean it never will be! I will always advocate for who I am and what needs to be done to help us. Even in recovery myself I won’t stop fighting because I believe in the power of my community, I believe in our strength and resilience and lastly I believe there are providers out there that will back us up and be leaders of change in the medical field! Stay strong my loves it will get better.
Pre-T, pre surgery to 2Y 5M on T, 1Y 5M post op top surgery, 6M post op hysto. 🤙🏽 In both pictures I am completely valid and enough. I just feel much more comfortable in my body now. . . . . . . #gettingthere #bodytransformation #trans #tboy #xxboy #vitamint #queer #gay #lgbtqa #transisbeautiful #f*ckgenderroles #transandshirtless #wearevalid #weareenough
Say it with me:
A bisexual person should not have to present their romantic history to prove to you they are bisexual!
