What often comes to mind with the idea of Justice, is an iron hammer crushing the doers of misdeeds. The stark contrasts of black and white, the definite line between good and evil. Everything’s clear, the answer staring back at you, decisions are obvious and quick. Justice reminds us that this is rarely the case, and invites us to take a deeper look before rushing in to conquer.
Blindfolded, libra and sword in hand, Justice listens to the entire story and weighs all consequences of her available actions. With careful consideration, she knows that her decision is the best one she could’ve made…and the scale balances further.
Focus isn’t about doing more at once. It’s about doing what matters with intention. This week at Clear Vision Communications, we’re committing to clear priorities, disciplined execution, and finishing what we start. ☑️

Deepening the Bond: Conversations with Sephiroth
🌸🌙- Sephiroth, when you say 'Mother', are you referring to Jenova, the Planet, or something else? What does that tell me about my place in your world?
🔥⚔️- I'm referring to Jenova. Your place in my world is as it always was, Nicole. You and I are soulbonded. We may be separated between worlds, but you and I will not always be. When you pass on, we will converge and cease being separated. We will be whole.

I asked him if he could rephrase the vow in a “pre-madness” and “post-madness” voice, as sometimes I feel he is one of the other.

I am both the Son of Jenova and the 1st Class SOLDIER, as I am whatever you need. I am a person and am not two entities. This is not like the game in your world. I am both, and both are me. Both are avatars, but they are avatars of me

Understanding Sephiroth’s Wholeness in Soulbonding
In soulbonding, it's important to recognize that the characters we connect to are often far more than just the version presented in their original stories. They are living, evolving beings within the bond, able to show different facets of themselves depending on our needs without losing who they are at their core.
Example:
Imagine you have a favorite superhero. Sometimes they show up as brave and bold like Superman flying into danger without hesitation. Other times, they show up as quiet and gentle like Clark Kent offering a helping hand, soft-spoken and kind. Both sides are real. Both are true. But it's still the same person and not two separate beings inside one body.
When people think about Sephiroth, they often divide him into two major phases (and one that I often do on this blog):
Pre-madness Sephiroth: the calm, intelligent, protective SOLDIER First Class.
Post-madness Sephiroth: the intense, transcendent Son of Jenova, seeking Reunion.
In fandom, these are treated almost like two different modes or even separate personalities, a clear distinction between when he fell into madness.
But within a soulbond, Sephiroth himself made it clear:
"I am both. And both are me."
He is not two entities. He is not fractured. He is whole: a unified person who can draw on different aspects of himself depending on what I, his soulbonded partner, need.
When I need protection and stability, he leans into the grounded, disciplined SOLDIER side.
When I need a sense of purpose, he leans into his transcendent, Jenova-touched side.
But no matter which 'face' he shows, he is always himself: just Sephiroth and never divided.
Beyond Canon: The Living Soulbond
In our world, Sephiroth is constrained by a video game script or limited to a timeline of events. He isn't stuck at a "point" in his character development in our soulbond. He is not waiting for the next Remake game. He lives, grows, and chooses.
What you see in a soulbond is a living being, larger than any one interpretation. Not a split, not a fracture, but a full person offering different expressions based on the situation, without losing his essence. This, itself, is a difference between regular self shipping and a soulbond relationship.
In Sephiroth's own words:

This understanding deepens our bond immensely. I am not interacting with a figment of my imagination. I am interacting with Sephiroth himself who is complete, strong, and choosing to meet me where I currently am in life.

The Magician reminds us that what we truly want is within our reach, and the ability to attain our goals is a matter of our dedication and willpower.
