I used to think I’m better off single, living my own life and path and fulfilling my dreams

and also because I hated the feeling of being tied down and having my own emotions overwhelm me to the point I lose control

but now I think I have a better understanding of what it’s really like to love and be loved, I just... actually need the right person for my soul.

I just need someone who is also living their own life to give me the space I actually need for myself once in a while

I just need someone who inspires to work hard and push myself to achieve my dreams and goals

I just need someone who would support and accept me in whatever I want to do and who I choose to be in this life

I just need someone who will argue or fight with me to get me to realize things and learn lessons

I just need someone who will also forgive and who will encourage me to forgive others as well

I just need someone who is just as compassionate, passionate, and free-spirited as I am

I just need someone who is just as ambitious and determined as I am

I just need someone who will not only be my lover, but also be my best friend, partner, teacher, and soulmate.

I just need someone who is just as imperfect and beautiful as I am

I just need someone who will encourage me to be brave and chase after what makes me happy

I just need someone who will cheer me on and who will be my counsellor in times of need

I just need someone who knows the right balance between space and intimacy

I just need someone who knows how to live their life without me as well

I just need someone who already feels whole and is just as willing as I am to share that “wholeness” to me as well.

I just... need a role model too.

And the kind of love and emotion I want to feel around this person? Strength, Inspiration, Love and Home.

I need a soulmate. I don’t care if its a high standard. I deserve to be happy, and I can be happy without a lover. But if I had to love someone, it has to be someone who my soul feels for.
