21. something you’ve kept since childhood?

hmmm something I've kept since childhood...OH ever since the 4th grade, I've had "The Looney Tunes Ultimste Visual Guide" and I still have it lol it was the start to my animation/art book collecting!

1) who is are your comfort characters?

Cherrie + Laurel, and Mun, are honest comfort. I have a lot more "misery" comfort characters tho. I'd like to give them proper happiness sometime, happiness I know they'd keep.

7) hair ties or scrunchies?

My roommate's the scrunchie gal, I'm a hairtie person. Scrunchies are cute, but I'd just rather have the practical option for ease.

14) do you love the smell of earth after it rains?

Petrichor? Yeah- though I mostly just love the rain. And storms. A good storm never lasts as long as I want though :(

31) what kind of music keeps you grounded?

...........some OST music...? I'd give a proper answer if I was better at staying grounded, but as of late that hasn't been happening.

42) an app you frequently use beside this godforsaken site?

Youtube, to the point it's an actual problem. But outside of that miserable shorts-site, I also play a lot of viddy game.

48) when did you first try an alcohol beverage?

A handful of scattered times, always relatively supervised. First time I can remember was a friend's dad's beer, didn't like it. First time I actually tried a drink I liked, 20 and at my sister's house.

(if anyone tries to give my paranoid ass grief about drinking, I'm in my mid-20s, I have a system with limits, I never drink and drive as a rule, and I don't drink more than once a month/every few months. I've done my homework, I know what I'm avoiding.)

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

A difficult subject.... Well, anything super dark, really, it throws my head into a weird space. As for easy... feelings seem to be something that just comes easy for me!

18. Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end. Spicy addition: Questioner provides the passage.

Let's go waaaaay back into the beginning of my writing, back to Fool me Once. the passage is:

The entire world goes silent, not even a breeze breaking the moment, and as the others struggle to their feet they notice that nothing is moving. Each individual dust particle, each huge slab of stone or twisted piece of metal hangs suspended in space, trembling faintly. 

Paz says something in Mando'a, but no one is listening close enough to hear it, all eyes on the person standing among the floating rocks, like a lone ship moored in an asteroid belt. 

The back story to this passage, this scene is that when I was first talking about an AU where Luke is a prince, I knew I wanted there to be some kind of dramatic, no choice reveal. And this image, of Luke standing amongst the evidence of his power was actually one of the first things I came up with, and stayed pretty much entirely the same through all of it! The going to the city wasn't originally in the plan, but it provided plot and the ability for me to make this scene a reality!

I do have amazing collections of lights, rocks, candles, books, paper cranes, forever unfinished wips and fic ideas, and stolen oversized hoodies that my little brother is never getting back.

As for beverages I will not back down, coffee was meant to be drunk pitch black, and cherry flavored beers must have spawned from some deep circle of inferno.

58. four talents you’re proud of having?

I’m proud of being able to cook. My mom was not a big cook and I never learned growing up, so in college I taught myself by watching Food Network shows, lol. Now I’m teaching my girls so they grow up knowing how to cook and provide for themselves.

I’m proud of my empathy and ability to see things from all different points of view.

I’m proud of my artistic ability, especially drawing, although I don’t do it nearly as much as I would like.

I’m proud of my ability to make people feel included.

Do you have any cartoon crushes?

Yep, past and present, depending on if CGI counts as cartoons!

1 past cartoon (he’s been in a lot of different formats, but it was the cartoon one that I had a crush on as a kid)

1 past from a CGI show (it was so long ago, I’m not 100% sure on this one, but I feel like I did as a kid, so I threw him in, lol)

1 present who has been in a lot of different formats, but he was very recently done in a cartoon style which made me realize I possibly have had a crush on him for years and didn’t realize it, lol

5. do you prefer to drink soda from soda cans, soda bottles, plastic cups or glass cups?

A bottle, because those can be sealed again and I don’t feel like I have to finish it.

I’ll usually have half a bagel and some coffee. The type of bagel changes frequently.

I love lilies, they’re so pretty!

Usually console. I play almost everything on Xbox, though I am starting to branch out with a few games to PC, for whatever my laptop can run.
