I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re at a low point:
If you were a fictional man right now, there would be *at least* ten people if not a large portion of the fanbase that would call you their wet beast poor little meow meow

Something that makes me feel better when my brain is working like shit is to think about it like this:
The reason my brain doesn’t work well most of the time is because I would have been too powerful. Genetics had to nerf me. Otherwise the world wouldn’t stand a chance.
It’s a weird way to think about it but hey, it helps sometimes to think that youre not weak because of your mental illness, you’re just too powerful and someone had to give you an obstacle to make it fair.
You know... Instead of wondering if people don't like you, remember that if they are unable to communicate their feelings that's their fault not yours. And if they have a problem and aren't capable of liking you, that's fine. Their opinion is relative and you are subjectively wonderful.
Weird Positivity Part 5 (My edits)
Hey fat people if you ever feel sad about being fat because our entire world yells at you not to I want you to remember this.
I fucking love wrinkly reptiles. I have a crested gecko who has floppy skin and is wrinkly. She’ll only get more wrinkly as she ages and I’m so excited because it makes her endearing and very holdable. She is dear to me and the wrinkles are important to that.
As weird as this is gonna sound, I promise you. You are someone’s crested gecko. You have beautiful crestie wrinkles (read: rolls) and they are part of what makes you important to that person and they are something people can love. If small dragons can have wrinkles so can you.
And listen, even if you wanna lose a little weight or work out more or change something, you’re human! No one has to be 2D flat skinny. You’re gonna have some crestie wrinkles and that is okay. They’re good, trust me.
I’m sorry, but making fanfics where you take a character, make them fat and then make them be all self-hating over the fact that they’re fat is not okay??
Okay, I understand that the whole “You’re beautiful no matter your weight/how you look” is a good sentiment. But people can have “flaws” other than being fat. They can hate their bodies for reasons other than their weight.
If you look deep enough, you can find something for every character that they don’t like about themselves. Write fanfics about that instead, about how they think their nose is too big, or that their hands are too small or whatever. It’s going to so much more interesting and insightful.
Being fat is perfectly normal, so please stop using it as a trope like “I want this character to feel ugly so I’ll make them fat”
