im loving wendy being a parallel for both babs and steph because they both (eevn tho so far only babs knows wendy) need to see how they're so similar outside of just having been batgirl at some point
For steph and wendy their determination is extremely needed on their day to day, its, how steph literally puts it, a way to carve the way to a second chance in life they know its never going to be offered in a silver platter. Neither of them will "sleep until they're dead"
As for babs and wendy it can be a lot more straight foward but both of them losing their ability to walk already puts them together in the eyes of society but, while they're both filled with anger for their situation, one of them "accepts" it and the other doesn't (may need to add that accepting it does not mean being in peace with it). Babs made herself something new after being put on the wheelchair (Oracle) and is jealous of people who can be who she used to be (aka steph), but does nothing to really fight to keep being that person, therefore internalizing her desires. while wendy externalizes it, doing physical therapy constantly even with the blackout and not going to see the teen titans because she doesn't accept herself like that. I really like that they showed that neither of them are correct in the whole "im disabled now" situation because it's never black or white, and both of them need to learn from the other

Lots of people have suggested in the Webtoon comments for the newest BWFA (One More) that Babs (as Oracle) should have her own sidekick so she can take breaks. There are a couple of canon characters that make sense for the role, such as Wendy White (Proxy) from Steph's Batgirl run, and Babs' friend Francine "Frankie" Charles from Babs' own Batgirl of Burnside run. Frankie was basically Babs' Oracle then.
