On a cute little road trip and all the woods are giving me ‘werewolves running through the woods’ vibes. I could almost imagine turning to see them running through the trees.

Tommy is weirdly able to identify anyone and anything. Nobody knows how or why. Like, there could be a swarm of bats that all look identical but he'll immediately know which ones are Ranboo and Dream, he could be walking through the woods and see two black wolves but he'll immediately know which one is Techno. He found a spider once in his room then later there were ten spiders in the kitchen and he only picked up one to save because he immediately knew that one specific one was Shroud.

Wilbur and Techno have gotten used to it over the years (they tried to teach him to be scared of other wolves by being in wolf form around him as a kid and pretending to be a bad wolf so he'd know not to trust all wolves- but he always knew it was them no matter what they did to try and disguise themselves as another wolf), but now Dream and Ranboo are left wondering how Tommy is so in tune with animals- like- his wolven brothers haven't noticed (because they're used to Tommy's weird animal stuff) but Tommy can actually feel what an animal is feel and understand what they mean (not like a translation- but like he'll know what they're trying to tell him if they're trying to tell him something)

No one really knows how or why Tommy can do this, but he can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bats and Beasts Au:

Has Tommy ever tried to get Dream and Ranboo to not drink human blood? I know they need it to survive, but I think it would be a fun conflict.

Also, are Wilbur and Techno the type of werewolves that can change whenever or do they only change on the full moon?

For the blood thing, Tommy grew up knowing that people eat people because when Wilbur and Techno first found him for those first couple of months they still ate humans and only quite after realizing if they're raising a "human" they probably shouldn't eat human- bit they never lied to Tommy or tried to hide it, plus of anyone got into their territory or threatened on of their "pack" (Wilbur Techno and Tommy is their pack-) they had every right to go kill them- so although Tommy would question why they need to he wouldn't try to stop them if he knew they needed it

Techno and Wilbur can change on command, but if there's a full moon they'll end up changing against their will- but only on a full moon. Otherwise they can be wolves whenever they want

Anyways, that au is so cool but would some kind of bad conflict where either one of the vampires or one of the werewolves bite someone? Or just attack in general cause they think Tommy's in danger?

They would definitely attack someone if Tommy is in danger- actually when Tommy was younger Techno and Wilbur still hunted humans whenever they were in the woods, until eventually they realized they probably shouldn't if their human brother was watching from the tree branches, so they started a rumor in the town near the woods that the people disappearing were from werewolf attacks (haha "rumor") which got the humans to stop going into the woods (along with a few half eaten human carcesses left at the edge of the woods). Now though the werewolves don't eat humans almost at all- but Tommy knows that they have before.

As for Dream and Ranboo, they have to drink human blood, they may not have to live on it but to stay healthy they have to drink human blood at least once a week (they can go a month or two without any, but if they don't drink any at all for a few months they'll get sick and possibly die), but they don't kill humans, as long as they drink once a week they can live off the same amount that would be taken for a blood donation. Although- there was an incident when Ranboo hadn't drank for a couple of weeks (because he kept insisting he'd be fine to watch Tommy at night to make sure the werewolves wouldn't eat him, so Dream could go out and drink) and Tommy noticed so he insisted on Ranboo drinking from him in the middle of school; Tommy did get some garlic from the home ec room though so he could shove it into Ranboo's face if he drank for too long to force him to stop (he did almost drink for too long- so the garlic was smart), and afterwards Tommy was fine because vampire (at least the way I depict them) have healing saliva so Ranboo just had to lick his wrist and it was like he was never bitten- except he was obviously drained of energy afterwards, so he went to spend the night at Dream's house to eat loads of sweets and sugar (it's the best way to get your energy back- in the cabin in the woods where Tommy lives they don't have alot of sugary things since the food is bought only for Tommy to be sustained)

But yeah- sorry I infodumped about something random- both the vampires and werewolves would attack anyone who tried to hurt Tommy- like the time someone weird came into town and started claiming Tommy was a witch and tried to sacrifice him to save the town from the devil... Yeah he got his blood drained and meat eaten pretty quick after that-

Werewolf!Techno who can smell Borrower!Wilbur, Phil and Tommy in his walls and hear their conversations but decides not to let them know he knows they're there and subtly help them with their borrowing trips like leaving out bits of food in easy to get places and stuff.

YES!!!!!

Techno just knows that they're there- but he just eaves drops on all of their conversations and gets attached.

It isn't until a full moon comes around and forces Techno to shift that they figure it out- while in wolf form the borrowers end up coming accross him and are confused and scared when he doesn't attack them when he can very clearly see him (they think he's just a woolf after all)
