merch i own: NONE. AT ALL. I plan on buying most of the albums on vinyl. I always stopped myself from buying a shirt because If I did, I'd want it to be original, even if that's "pretentious."

if you were to choose a fictional female character from a book to compare yourself to, who would you choose and why?

The character Laura Brown from The Hours. She was dissatisfied with her life as an American housewife and grew very depressed because of it. She is filled with yearning for more than what her tiny neighborhood holds.I can relate to her need to escape and her hunger for something more.

dear future me,

I know everything is up in the air right now, and that's okay. So you want to move to Europe, or the mountains, or Montreal. Well, you can. It's scary to think of the next four years because the end of them is so unforeseeable. It's alright. I'm sure you will have grown into the person you want to be, even if you're not completely sure who that is yet. Write a book. Quit worrying about love and whether you'll be able to stay in. Travel. Keep doing the things that scare you, and I promise, you will not become the dead soul you are so afraid of turning into.
