Yesterday was a massive day of work, opening up the energy of the studio. Tanks to a Men&Women power together, our vision is coming through, for an avant-garde Ceramic Centre, a place in central Amsterdam where the Makers can afford to work on a weekly basis and soon become professional Ceramists. Inspired by the famous Pompidou Centre in Paris, it became clear to me that we had to keep all the circulation and the access to water and electricity on the outskirts of the 14 flexible workspaces, creating that way pure work m2 and really maximising the value of the space. The sinks and the wedging tables will stay within the periphery of 1m circulation, and will be shared, creating interaction and communion. More news soon about the rest of the plans.
