A new oak leaf scarf I took some photos of earlier today. This one is made of a special mustard colored ombré yarn by @spincycle_yarns and some leftover bubbles pom pom yarn from @prismyarn. This scarf is extra special since all the embroidered oak leaves are inspired by real fallen leaves I collected, drew, and then embroidered from Wilcox Park. The leaves are embroidered from a range of autumnal colored silks from @silkbaron. It’ll be up on Etsy later this week.

New blog post!!! It has been a while since I published anything on the blog. Check out the link in bio for a live race in April of 2021. Glad to be out running in-person races again. My #italiangrinderodyssey takes me back to #westerlyri and the @misquamicutsandwichco After battling seagulls and Yankees fans at #misquamicutbeach my daughter and I hit this little joint after several recommendations. Just for the record, the woman at the order window just about the nicest person I’ve met in #rhodeisland Once again, it’s all about quality not quantity. The #coldcuts were excellent: #GenoaSalami, #Capicola, #Ham and #Provolone with a little #Lettuce and #Tomato served on a #Roll that was excellent. #oilandvinegar and #bananapeppers with the always welcome diced #pickles. I like how the #cheese was rolled up in the middle. Great mix of flavors!
