This is Zira in her wheelchair! She doesn’t use it often, but when she does it’s mostly because her prosthetic malfunctioned, or she got tired of using it. Her expression is probably because someone is explaining how to use a prosthetic so she won’t have to use a wheelchair. Or she’s talking to Lucio. Probably both, tbh.

As explained in a previous post, Zira’s mother is a government figure back in Mariena, and tried to have Zira killed. She had to flee to Vesuvia with her adopted daughter Masha. I will explain more about Masha in a separate post, but know she is the most important thing in Zira’s life.
Zira lost her leg when her mother attacked her, so it’s pretty recent (only a few years if we follow game lore). She used to always use a glamour to make herself look human, but not so much anymore. She was rather surprised the people of Vesuvia didn’t care, then she saw Valdemar and realized they just do not give cares.
Zira’s home dimension is mostly underwater. All of her people are born in the water and they have gills on their sides and retractable webbing. Their ear flaps can also move to shut their ears and protect them from loud noises. There is actaully a feud going on in her dimension over “land-livers” and “Sea-livers”. Most people live on both the land and sea, but some believe they were always meant to live in the sea and have decided never to come on land again. In contrast the other side believes that since they evolved to live on land they should live there. They even cut their own gills as a statement that they will never return to the sea. This divide gave her mother the perfect opportunity to try to start a civil war, and knowing Zira would take up her position to try and end it before it began she tried to have her killed. This would lead to Zira hiding out in Vesuvia.
