What's more confounding of a bond between a heroic Star Guardian and a Cardbot that's chaotic as hell that gets chased down by said Star Guardian?
They are in a relationship; specifically, they're married to each other, and no ever knew about it.
At first, it wasn't always like that back on Machina. You two had the classic sworn enemy banter. You were the Joker to his Batman but completely different from those two
After getting to know your whole backstory, he wanted to save you from the hell that's your past. He wanted to be your hero, your savior
But you, you just love seeing Cardbots with pure and holy sparks blacken to a degree, to succumb to their deepest, darkest sins and desires even when it is so miniscule that it's not even there
That's your favorite kind, and that's exactly what Blue Cop was. A holy angel awaiting to be corrupted, pure white wings that will slowly be painted black as the dark
You wanted him to fall prey to rage, to lash out, to let out his inner beast- just wanting to see him be something other than a goody-two-shoes
Because of this, Blue Cop was almost there because of your actions and antics, until he found out what caused you to be like this
A once normal Cardbot that was experimented on by some mad scientist Cardbot, subjected to torment and pain that drove you to the brink of insanity
He felt pity for you, sympathetic even. At first, he wanted to capture you for disrupting the peace and causing trouble. But now, he wanted to capture you because he wants to heal you from your trauma.
It didn't help the fact that a little after this, after he had almost caught you before you broke free and ran away, he proclaimed this to you. And to be perfectly honest... you were kinda into it~
The classic wants to save and wants to corrupt, what an interesting trope just reserved for you two. Will the hero save his broken, villainous maiden, or will the villain corrupt the hero's thoughts to insane, twisted love that he never realized was happening?
It soon became a back and forth between you two
He was left confused when gifts were dropped off in his habsuite, that should've made an alarm if it was broken into, and they are the most macabre things he's seen. But, as this continues, he doesn't throw them out and keeps them as a secret collection of things from you as if they were major clues to figuring you out
Bu then came the best day that you'd never forget
"Come to see me, Copper?" "This ends now- Uh... what's all this?" "Can't a Cardbot bot switch up the environment now and then? Sometimes the same old, dark, cryptic alleys can be such a boring drab!" "And you choose... firelights and flowers? Why is their blood on the ground...?" "OH! That would be from your newbie partner- or rather, former partner! *Giggle*" "*Sigh* First of all, why? And secondly, why do all... *gestures to the environment* this?" "Well, they kept pestering you to just stop chasing me and make it somebody else's problem, and I didn't like it! Not one bit! I do enjoy our game of chase and back-and-forth so much that I don't want it to stop! Ever... And, as for this set up that I worked oh-so hard for, I thought of a little something that we'll both enjoy!" "And... what would that be- Not that I'm interested, of course! Just... curious." "I'm so glad that you asked, Copper! *Pulls BC close with servos interlocking with one another* You don't think I've noticed how you've been acting for the past few solar cycles? And I don't think you've realized it either! I think it's rather adorable how oblivious you are about yourself, deary~ However, I don't want to waste any more time because I can already hear your fellow Guardians coming, so I'll cut to the chase. I'm in love with you! I'm obsessed with you! To hear you declare that you'll save me is so admirable of you that it just makes me swoon! What better way to show love than the two main bots of this story on opposite sides of the spectrum of morality? To see if good will power over evil. And the twist of them being lovers?! It would be so shocking and revaluating that it would be the greatest moment in history!" You cleared your throat pipes and kneeled on one knee holding a small box covered in blood splatters. Opening it, it revealed to be a saw and wielder- but the main eye catcher was the ring finger of your left servo. A sound caught his attention and saw your chest plate retract, showing your pulsing spark in your open spark chamber. "Would you make this demented bot the happiest Cardbot on Machina and be my bonded?"
Blue Cop returned, keeping his left servo hidden, concealing a mis-matched finger that didn't match the rest of them. He was also hiding his blushing face behind his hat from his colleagues. Other than that, he was so happy- it's one step closer to his goal
You retreated to your hideout, giggling and laughing to yourself as you held your left servo close, observing your new, blue, ring finger on your left servo that was f/c, kicking your pedes like a schoolgirl.
Later that night, you snuck into his habsuite before he returned, waiting to start the spark bonding process.
Unfortunately, a couple deca-cycles is when disaster struck. Machina was exploding. You both barely made it to your own escape pods, luckily without any problems.
So, now, you float. Float in the vast space, just waiting to reunite with your lover to play your new game of Cat and Mouse
