“I loved real real hard once. But the Love wasn’t returned. Found out the man I’d die for... He wasn’t even concerned. I tried and I tried to keep him in my life. I cried and I cried. But I could it make it right. But I loved the young man. And if you’ve ever been in love... Then you’d understand That what you WANT might make you cry. And what you need might pass you by if you don’t catch it. And what you need ironically Might turn out what you want to be If you just let it...” - #LaurynHill #WhenItHurtsSoBad ➖➖➖➖➖➖ I post about my academic, career, and even my fitness goals a lot but I rarely (never) talk about the fact that a young thug hasn’t been in a seriously committed relationship in (going on) SEVEN years. 👀 Too many of those 7 years I sacrificed to wanting that old thing back 👩🏾💻 A couple of those 7 years I gave to miscellaneous situationships despite the wisdom of my book #TheEndOfThirstiness (currently on sale in the shop on my website). But a lot of that time I have given to the journey of healing, understanding my complicity in so called failed relationships - dealing with myself, my fears, my “stuff.” Not dating a lot. Just minding my business (figuratively and literally). And learning to be a better daughter, Sister, friend, Auntie Eb, Boom Girl, business woman... a better whole free me. ➖➖➖➖➖➖ Do y’all watch #ThisIsUs ........................... I’m 2018... May those of us that are ready for real, look at me like I hung the stars in the sky love get us a Randal. 😍 cc: @susankelechiwatson @sterlingkbrown ➖➖➖➖➖➖ If you don’t watch #ThisIsUs you don’t know that I just blessed you with a great prophetic unction! Huh? 👂🏾 One major thing I’m doing in 2018 to actually be open for my beloved to come is... not doing whatever I was doing before. Lingering in a #ColdPlay song. Wallowing in a #LaurynHill song. Letting folk strum my pain with their fingers. Being dependent on anyone’s validation or affirmation. Losing myself in a #relationship (like I absolutely did in my last serious relationship). Nah... I’ll be 35 on the 16th! The time of the perculator is upon us. Which means if it is to be it is up to me. #VisionBoard
I love this song and album so much..#whenithurtssobad #lboogie #laurenhill
It’s been 12 days. Fuck you for so many reasons. And fuck you too, for reminding me, “you’re young, you will find someone in no time!”. It has literally been eating me up. I have never felt so miserable. Or so fucking alone. I've had panic attacks, my eyes are swollen making it hard to apply my make-up. I am constantly re-applying face powder during work. And I spend most of my off time sleeping. How can someone have such a strong hold on you, that without them you literally cannot manage your self? Day 12 has made me realize a lot. I created these habits with another person that I never thought I would have to undo. I planned a future with someone that Was supposed to be my backbone. I now have to mourn about that not happening, EVER. I had made all of these plans, and was feeling so blessed, so content, so happy and so hopeful for our future. I have always been a very independent, confident, and self-righteous person. But now I can’t even remember what it feels like to be the old me. Fuck you

Tonight on Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 16 "When It Hurts So Bad" Dr. Maggie Pierce Dr. Andrew DeLuca end there relationship. However, in this video “Like We’re Together”, we look back on how it all started and other Grey’s Anatomy relationship.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 16
"When It Hurts So Bad" (SPOILER ALERT) How can a blanket could end up being such a dramatic game-changer for Meredith’s love life. At first, it looked as though she was ready to move forward with Will, but through seeing an old memento of Derek’s, she realized that she was not quite ready to move forward with the relationship. Ultimately, this could not have been handled more perfectly. She didn’t rush into a relationship after her husband’s death, and when she finally did find someone, she still realized she needed more time and it happened organically. She was honest with Will, and he was honest with her that she was worth waiting for.As for where we think the show could go moving forward, that’s a little bit of a mystery at the moment, but one we are rather excited to see where this goes. We wouldn’t quite say that this was a game-changing episode in the slightest when it comes to the story-lines that are already in gear, but we do think that at some point down the road, it could evolve and become something so much more emotional and shocking. We’re looking forward to being on this particular carousel for a little while longer. One final note: Wasn’t it nice to see Maggie, Amelia, and Meredith all seemingly content being around one another again? They’ve all certainly been through quite a bit as of late. Meanwhile, Sofia ends up in the ER with a head laceration, and Penny is assigned to her case. Callie panics about Sofia meeting Penny so quickly, and she displaces her discomfort onto Arizona. Yet, Bailey reassures Callie about the appropriate time to introduce children to a new relationship, and Callie invites Penny to get ice cream with her and Sofia. After Andrew starts to ignore Maggie, Maggie confronts him and breaks it off. While, Amelia ditches Owen after she found him drinking in his trailer, knowing that she would need his support to stay sober. Furthermore, Catherine talks to April about her pregnancy, just to finds enough evidence of fraud to go after custody rights of the baby. NOT NICE!!!
