an interesting thing that i've realized through playing the sims: the art that i prefer to decorate a home with does not equal the art that i love.

what i mean by this is that while i'm putting a room together, and i'm considering all the lines and colors and shapes and cohesion of everything, 9 times out of 10 the classical portraits that i flock to at the museum do not work as well on the wall as the canvas with the paint splatters on a simple gradient background. it just doesn't. and part of me is upset about this because i am an absolute whore for baroque art. like, vermeer? gentileschi? bernini? render them unto me that i might gaze upon their beauty.

but would i put a copy of Judith Slaying Holofernes in my living room? no, it clashes with the upholstery.

just got back into Greek mythology after playing Hades and omg do i love this game! I've always loved Greek mythology and I was immediately inspired to make a Asterion x Icarus kid fic... while I love Asterius x Theseus, I wanted to do something more traditional, that connects to another story. yeah, im not sure how well it'll do but I love Asterius to death! He's such a good bull, he deserved so much more!

So without the context of my tftsmp post that was so big I had to reblog it twice to get all my thoughts out there, this shouldn't bee to hard to get across, but the situation with billiam and ranbutler comparison to Bad's situation with Skeppy. We know hurbert(dream) was supposed to be there, but ran away(was sick), BUT what if instead of running away it was more...'ran away' as in fed to the egg and that's the cover.

What if ranbutler, the main handler since billiam doesn't live there most of the time, was really close with Hubert, like brothers because I like familial relationships I'm gay it's how we are, and they were ride or die, just like bbh and skep, but also like bbh and skep, ranbutler-or moon because I saw the post where hurbert is the same name as one of two of Tech's Halloween mobs and the other was moon and I will now die on this hill-was infected by the egg easier and quicker than Hubert. So since they're ride or die, hubert does the same thing that Skeppy did, or something similar. So moon could have done something similar as bbh did, try and get rid of the egg as best he could, explaining the the copious milk-because I saw two posts one where the milk was to counter poison billiam regularly tries to kill him with and the other where it was to try and counter the egg's effects-and soulsand chandelier.

All of that would explain Hubert's absence and bring more of history repeating itself and add the touch of angst this fandom seems to live for
