No fr I really wish he was more popular/liked in the fandom tbh. Its hard to find any fanwork with him in it, much less any fans. I can count with a few fingers how many Eugene fans I've come across and its just depressing lol. Most content revolving him is just slander/hate (understandably so but still) and looking for any fanwork with Eugene in it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack or however the saying goes idk. And Mandeok and Yuseong are even rarer too. They're all so cool, and I like the concept of smart and/or manipulative characters like Eugene, icl.

Doing some looking into primary sources for that test breeding post I promised. Obviously not relevant today, but I feel it's important as Collie people to understand the sacrifices and efforts made by the fanciers that came before us, and to appreciate the sheer amount of care and study that Collie fanciers have put into understanding, preventing, and selectively breeding against health issues in our breed!

Holy shit guys I’m super devastated. My life’s dream had been to one day apply for a job at the Seattle Times and get to move to the PNW - they give great benefits, I’ve heard great things, their coverage is awesome. But as of today I’m hearing that they’re floating the idea of replacing their journalists with AI. So obviously I’m not ever working for them until that’s fixed…but idk wtf to do now because that was my whole method of getting out of the middle of the country and staying in this godforsaken industry that is stressful as hell but nonetheless the only pillar of democracy left

The staff members chosen to be Thomas' teachers are instructed not to engage in discussion that does not relate to academics. Many times, nobody will visit Thomas' room for days, leaving him along with nothing but food that's machine-delivered and a blanket. He starts talking to the walls out of desperation for a fucking conversation. He's so blinded by the joy of having Dr. Paige as someone he can finally talk to that he's willing to overlook her atrocities. Fuck, he'll design them for her! Anything to stick around her for longer.

She invites Thomas to a committee meeting one night. Dr. Randall tries to protest at an eight-year-old being in the meeting, but Dr. Paige calmly replies that Thomas has earned a position at the table. Not only that, but he is an exceptionally bright student, and she is sure that he will provide valuable insight into the brain patterns of children. Furthermore, Dr. Paige has not forgotten how Dr. Randall completely violated protocol (he did not) and used a pain simulator to condition Thomas to his new name (a process that was thought of and approved by Dr. Paige herself), and she would appreciate it if Dr. Randall could restrain himself. He is scaring Thomas.
