Batman: Last Knight on Earth (2019)
[x]
I just turned on the Kefka world race to listen while I work, and one of the commentators just referred to the current mechanic the teams are stuck on as "clown rampant," and i don't know why that's so funny to me this morning but it is and I love it so much.
aww poor thing
I just learned that two of the biggest sources for dietary vitamin D are fatty fish, and mushrooms. Years-long question of "how is everybody in the Neath not wildly vit. D deficient" answered! The zee is right there, and mushrooms are a major food source down here. If you live at zee or eat a lot of zeefood, or rely heavily on mushrooms, you're all set.
However, because I'm me, that of course raises even more interesting questions. Who relies most on zeefood and mushrooms in the Neath? People who can't afford to import Surface fare. There's a level of danger to both acquiring and eating things from the zee, and with mushrooms being both the cheap option and an acquired taste, serving real meat instead is a symbol of class. That means that interestingly enough, while London's common folk are probably deficient in a lot of other nutrients (like anything primarily sourced from fresh fruits and veggies) they might actually be way better off by coincidence in terms of vitamin D.
I have a question for you-
If White Lily (just after Witch's Banquet and falling into the Ultimate Dough, "isekai" shenanigans) were to awaken within Witch's Castle and meet the Brave Gang, what would her reaction to the Firsts being former humans/Witches would be? Fear and violence? Or something else?
Hm...
Since I'm assuming that instead of becoming Dark Enchantress cookie she ended up there... I honestly think she'd be more curious than anything?
I don't think White lily would actually have any real negative opinions on the first cookies especially if we assume she learns about them as the First cookies and not as the witches.
She'd probably put together that the followers of the wol are a different group to the banquet witches and that the original interpretation by cookie kind was correct.
If anything I think she'd find this information extremely helpful to her understanding. A big part of why she ended up the way she did (at least imo) was because she expected things to be completely different. The understanding that witches created cookies for several separate reasons and these groups were different would probably make her more curious about how these things worked instead of freaked out.
Although if you mean she meets the brave gang and is informed of them being witches, she might be a bit more on guard. Although the fact they were witches is more something that they themselves bring up more than other cookies mentioning.
Actually the residents of the castle kinda seem to treat it as a casual thing. Like obviously they're ruling over certain sections and are treated like rulers...
But no one really seems to... Care that they used to be Witches? Like they treat them like powerful leaders... But not like Gods.
I think White lily would quickly begin to see the witches as actual individual people if she met the first cookies.
Although I can imagine they'd be extremely confused how she got the soul jam of Solidarity...
I think White lily would actually benefit from this a lot though. I think in a way it'd help explain so much about their world while also aiding in how she herself views cookie kind.
I BEG for a happier version of salvation 😭😭 I was on the verge of BAWLING my eyes out at that ending man 💔 I need a new ending which is not so upsetting
OKAY OKAY OKAY
I HAVE HEARD YOUR PLEAS AND HAVE COME TO YOU WITH GOOD NEWS
Since I published Salvation many of you have requested a Fix It AU, and I am happy to finally announce that said AU is in the final stages of being written.
I have entitled this work “Redemption” and am very proud of how far it has come.
I will be working on it for a bit longer but it should be published within the next few days. That being said, please be patient with me as I continue to make small (but hopefully helpful) edits.
For now you may use this post to inform me if you’d like to be tagged in “Redemption” when it eventually comes out! (Or if you have any questions you’d like me to address)
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement, I promise I am working as hard as I can to make a satisfying story for all of you 🫶
UPDATE: Redemption has finally been published! Thank you again for all the love and support!
