the thing about the new chapter is that i feel like they did care?? (kinda). i mean they asked for his permission first before anything, and yuta acknowledged what gojo went through FINALLY SOMEONE NOTICES😭

but like im so disappointed with shoko why did she agree so quick hello…

the thing about it also is that yuta tells them that gojo shouldn’t be the only one willing to sacrifice himself and become a monster for them. and then he goes and does it by using satoru (which is rude and nice?? i guess???)

but what i don’t really understand is why gojo agreed at all. i don’t think he would care about his body being used—but his whole thing as a teacher is that the kids should just get to be kids. he doesn’t want yuta to be executed because ‘no one should be allowed to take childhood away from children.’

so why would he want that for yuta?? even in the chapter he pushes them away when he kills the higher ups. it’s actually a huge contradiction in what he wants for his students.

but i think it also implies (again) that gojo didn’t think he would lose. he didn’t think it would ever matter.

(idk what is up with shoko—i doubt their friendship is as strong as when they were kids but still. like???)
