He'd been in the bathroom when he'd heard the bedroom door unlock, it being one of those rare days were he'd decided to actually drag himself out from the bed and actually take care of himself. Even he got a little annoyed when he'd have those episodes of emptiness and was all but forced into the shower - with his hydrophobia and all, it was much better if he just forced himself to clean up now and then. "I'll be there in a sec", he called out, spitting out the toothpaste and staring at his tired expression. He didn't look that bad - though he was even paler than normal, "....you know", he started as he walked back into the room, ruffling his damp hair with a towel as he walked, "It's been forever since I even last saw the sun - but judging by the heat lately, it must be summer right?". Removing the towel, his hair stood up in random angles as he gave her a soft, tired smile, "What is the date?"
