#throwbacktuesday and not many make #rarewhisky like @lastdropdistillers. So when I got the chance to do #whiskydinner with them at my favorite restaurant @crustaceanbh I was all over it. That night we enjoyed their 57 year old #blendedwhisky, the 1969 #glenrothes, the 1977 #dumbarton single grain and their 1971 #scotchwhisky. We paired this #luxurywhisky with dishes like #garlicnoodles and crab, #saltrock steak, #bonemarrow and #lambchops to mention a few of #crustaceanbeverlyhills specialties. #flashbackfriday to this amazing #whiskydinner I did with my dear friend @jamesmontejano of @huntresssteak. We paired his amazing food with some of my favorite #suntorywhisky for an intimate group of 15 people. We started with heirloom tomato and #lobster salad with #Hibiki 17 year #whisky. Then Spanish charred octopus with #hakushu 17, for the entree chef james served a 90 day #dryagedsirloin steak paired with #yamazaki 18, and last but not least a Whisky Milk Chocolate Cremeaux for dessert.
