Daphné is not someone who seems complex. She's a rich brat who always get what she wants, but the truth is far different. In reality, she's a sensitive young woman who got herself in a bigger lie than she could have imagined. Daphné doesn't come from a rich family at all. Both of her parents even had to work multiple jobs to be able to afford to get their kids into the schools they wanted and deserved. But once she moved and went to a new high school, she decided she wasn't going to be the bullied quiet girl anymore, and that's when the lies started.

facts about Ophia:

grew up in Brindleton with her dad and older brother

her mom passed away when she was 4, she has no memories of her because she was too young

does have her mother to blame for her ridiculously long name so she’s kinda prideful of it bc it’s the only thing she has of her as her dad wasn’t fond of keeping much of her stuff around - it was too painful for him to hold onto so many memories and the move from abroad back to Brindleton where he was born didn’t allow for them to keep too much stuff

her dad n brother got all the tall genes, she’s a tiny bb at 5′2 n a half (yes that half counts ok)

loves anything fall; clothing, foods, drinks, candles n more- if it’s fall themed she digs it

Halloween is her favourite holiday, she still goes trick or treating every year without fail - in costume duh! - and no one can tell her she’s too old to do so

loves to paint, especially for her friends n family as little gifts but secretly hopes to move to the city really soon and make a career from selling them

if she were in a fantasy novel she’d be a wood nymph tbh

has a bit of a mischievous streak she never really grew out of after puberty

she means no harm she just really loves to prank people n she’s adorable enough to get away with it most of the time

never got along much with the girls save from a few in her hometown but the boys were alright, she just wishes they wouldn’t treat her as if she were fragile

really good at saving money unless you let her roam alone in an art store, then it’s bye money

mya grew up in a loving and happy family. her parents have been married for 20 years and they keep loving each other more and more. mya admires their relationship a lot. she has two older sisters, they all get along very well. everybody in the fam’ is very creative and loves art. mya’s father is a painter, her mom owns an art gallery and her sisters are both studying art at uni. because of that mya has never had any doubts about her future. she wanted to work as an artist too. that’s the reason why she recently moved out alone to try to become a famous painter!!

                            simstendo: the bachelorette

welcome to the new simstendo game for 2019: the bachelorette. in this game, you play as the protagonist, cassandra goth, in a choice based adventure where she tries to find the love of her life! you, as the player, must flirt your way through the game in order to complete dates, parties and more, in order to find cassandra her wife. at the end of each level, the sim with the lowest love level will be eliminated from the game. remember: your choices effect the outcome of the ending, so, choose wisely!!

so i decided i wanted to do a bachelorette challenge with a bit of a twist. this time, it wont only be up to me and the sims to decide what happens, as you guys will be included too! my idea is that i will get to a point in the game where i believe a “choice” should be made. i will then take a screenshot and offer between 2 - 4 choices that you will vote on. a time limit will be stated on the post so you know how long you have to decide. the winning choice will be what i do in game! the choices could range from who to take on a date, what to have for dinner, who to eliminate or whether to be kissing, hugging or embracing ect. i hope you guys like this idea. i’m super super excited to start!!

a huge thank you to @okyio who helped me design this character creation page and gave me the blank slates on which to style my challenge on!! you are a darling and i hope we can do more fun stuff like this in the future together. also a huge thank you to @cowconuts who designed a graphic that will feature in the gameplay!

Viola & Jade Puck for @whistsims​‘s Rhys!

Viola Puck and her older brother, Jade Puck, have lived very interesting, unconventional lives, to say the least. Their parents were funeral directer, their mother was the mortician and father was the funeral director. So they lived above a funeral home their whole lives. Naturally, this can take a bit of a morbid curiosity in other things, but not for these two. With their parents too preoccupied with the dead, they found other avenues of interest. Viola became obsessed with the living, she wanted so badly to live that she put herself in not so good situations. 

She met a bad guy when she was 15, and dated him for years. It wasn’t until later that it came out how horrible and toxic he was for her. Because of the extent of trauma she went through with him (him almost dying, him fighting her endlessly, him destroying her art,ect) She was never quite the same kind of person. She thinks before she speaks, picks her battles carefully because if she doesn’t, the sea of hate and anger will come bubbling back to the top and she isn’t quite ready to express such.. bad icky feelings. She ended up dropping out of high school. This didn’t make her parents happy, and they decided if she were to continue living under their roof, she would go back to school, or get a job. 

So yknow what she did? She got a job, she started singing. She found it was a somewhat safe space to release her emotions & she was good at it! She learned she could cry on demand, she could feel all her emotions and then be praised for expressing them. For the first time, she felt like she was succeeding. 

Her parents didn’t agree with her job of choice, it wasn’t a real job, it was a hobby. Fighting happens, Viola already sensitive, and cant stand being judged in any way, ends up moving out at 18. She doesn’t have money or a place to stay, so her brother says she can move in with him and his long term girlfriend, Val. 

Val and Viola click instantly. It’s like two peas in a pod. They get coffee together, go to the gym, write songs with each other, hell, val would even listen to her practice acting. Jade and Val were so happy too. They had a pure love, an innocent love. One that doesn’t come without heartbreak. They lived in harmony for a couple years. Christmas was fun, but spooky day was where they truly shone. They held the absolute best spooky day parties. Val encouraged Viola to get her GED and helped her to achieve her goal. And Viola did it! She was ecstatic. Everyone was happy. That happiness doesn’t last long, not for the Pucks. 

Val ended up dying, in a freak storm, she was hit by lightening. Her funeral was the worst day of Jade and Viola’s life. She was a part of them. Someone they can never forget. Not being able to deal with the constant reminders of their broken home, their loved one dying, and their parents apathy towards them, they decide to pack their bags up and move yet again, hoping to find a place where they belong.

Arihi Taito for @whistsims

Gloomy. Clumsy. Goofball. Entertainer Career (Level 2).

Arihi was born in Sulani, and for a while that was fun - the water and beaches are always fun when you’re young – but that changed when she was about fourteen. Knowing everyone and knowing their business and only having tourists to liven up the atmosphere got old fast, and as soon as she was out of school she wanted out. When she was 19, she told her parents she wanted to move away, and while they didn’t have much money, they let her take her college fund to move somewhere else. She decided to try her hand at being a comedian – humor had always been a big part of her life and got her through rough times, so it seemed natural. At the moment, she’s bar hopping into any open mic she can get her hands on.

- Has mild depression, but works incredibly hard to cover it with humor. Very dry, sarcastic, ironic humor.

- Does yoga to relax. Though she does it badly because she’s not very flexible.

- Sweet tooth, taught herself to bake just to make herself sweet things.

- Rabid gamer, mostly MMOs (always plays tanks).

- Hates skirts and dresses, loves floral print.

- Favorite color is blue. Least favorite is yellow.

- Really doesn’t like being asked ‘what was your home like?’ - she thinks Sulani is way over romanticized.

- Isn’t very organized – her rooms isn’t a ‘disaster zone’, but...it’s getting there.

Meet Judy Rhodes, aspiring painter extraordinaire.

Judy loves:

Oil painting, waking up early to drink a cup of black coffee, thrifting for long lost treasures, the smell of old books, street food

Judy dislikes:

Her name (thanks mom - Named after her grandmother), cream in her coffee, mustard, remembering the tune of the song, but cannot recall the name so she can listen to it.

She was made with @whistsims and her lovely bean, Rhys in mind!

Judy is from the rainy town of Brindleton Bay where she grew up with her mom and grandmother. Judy loved to paint from an early age, but grew tired of only painting landscapes and small town life. She packed her bags and moved to San Myshuno to start a new chapter in her life.

I hope you like her! I’ve never really made sims for other people like this so I was really excited and inspired to do so! :)
