Blackcurrant, White Currant & Meadowsweet Melomel Update
Well I had 5 furious days of activity with the Melomel, it nearly blew the top on the FV by the second day. Really didn’t need stirring that much. The addition of the fruit must have really provided the Mead Yeast with what it was after. So by day 5 it had really settled down so was time to rack into Demijohns to finish off the rest of the fermentation.
The currant bushes just starting to leaf out.
