Why do many white Progressives lay most of the blame of the centrist Democrats' policies at Obama's feet?  They tend to blame him more than they do Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton.  As far as they are concerned, Obama is mainly to blame.  Is this because they had expected him to be a Progressive when he was first elected, because he is a man of color?  I knew he was a Centrist as far back as 2008.

This feels relevant given all the progressive white people who can call out Trump, the Klan, and neo-Nazis but whitewashing, “color blindness”, cultural appropriation, blackface, Islamaphobia, micro aggressions, non-black folks saying nig/nigga/nigger, false equivalencies like reverse racism, affirmative action, racial preference, anti-Semitism, they problematic white fave, etc...
