The partially parasitic species Viscum album (mistletoe) is well-known for its waxy white berries found on the female plants. It forms a globose shape and can parasitise more than 200 tree and shrub species.

More pretty autumn berries. It seems like the shrubs hold their leaves longer in the fall, but as always - their berries brighten everything up. In Cambridge Botanic Garden, UK, the white fruits of Cordyline australis (cabbage palm, Torquay palm) were providing a display even from a distance. This monocotyledon is an endemic to New Zealand, with long evergreen leaves in dense clusters at the branch tips and creates a small tree with stout branches coming from a single trunk. The distinctive habit of this plant means it needs to be used with care within garden and landscape designs.
