Essential items for my overseas travel on Monday 29 October, a selection of Whittaker's chocolate.
After three years and one month, two cancelled trips, I'm going to our home in Chanthaburi, Thailand, for the rest of 2022.

After three years and one month, two cancelled trips, I'm going to our home in Chanthaburi, Thailand, for the rest of 2022.
I can't decide which is my favourite flavour. Oh well, I guess I will just have to enjoy both. The mint one is nice after dinner and the PNB&J is just yum any time.

it's so sweet how Sierra asks to be part of the Whittaker family. She's tentative about it, which shows how much it means to her. Which is why she asks it. Something she normally wouldn't do, ever. How starved she is for family. And how close she feels to the Whittakers, to even think like this, because she doesn't get close to anyone. But she formed a bond with Jason during their 1st mission together, and a bond with Whit looking for his grandson. Shows how welcoming they are, to make a girl who didn't have ties with anyone, didn't feel the need, wanted independence after her 1st adoptive family, and her unthinkably traumatic childhood, trust enough to want close ties.

There is something really nice about the Whittakers being practically family with the king of Muldavia even if they aren't distantly related... have a sort of expanded family
Roderick II is very family oriented, having lost his family in the communist takeover, and then being taken in by Romani. Who he still very much considers family. Family is more important to him than ruling.
By extension everyone Roderick considers family are the Whittakers' as well in a way, a branch of the family across the sea. And vice versa, their family and everyone they consider part of it. Which expands more all the time.
