A detail I've noticed in the fallout season 2 trailer is that the Securitron's firing mode for their 9mm submachine gun is technically wrong!

The claws should be retracted when firing, instead they're uncurled

The reasoning behind their claws being retracted when using the submachine gun is actually to increase stability while firing, this is detailed in the Securitron schematics!

What would be the cause of avid finally confessing to pyro? Does it have to with pyro getting almost killed by the holy water or somethin else?

One very important question

Also gotta love the cowboy gettup pyro and avid has, both are slaying. 

Did avid and pyro coven kill Louis? What happened and do they know about Louis’ death?

Also just have to say I would kill for truffle.

And would the vampires try to desecrate the beacons? How long does it take for them to start desecrating them?

OK SO IVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS ASK FOR A GOOD FEW DAYS. the confession ended up Too Long, so I uploaded it on AO3! my very first one on there, here's the link:3 !! and I'll answer the rest of the questions under the cut

Avid manages to get out of Oakhurst without being staked, but it's not clear sailing for them after they leave!! They've got their old coven still trying to bring them to justice, and vampire hunters are still a threat. And yeah, I don't think Pyro would take to see Avid dying in front of him TOO well....

Avid and Pyros coven DID kill Louis, since the Sire didn't appreciate his whole "love the humans" thing happening so close to their territory, and Louis definitely argued back, not willing to bend on his morals. And any form of dissent had to be dealt with.

Pyro would most likely know more than Avid, and anything Avid knows would be whatever Pyro told him and snippets the Sire bragged out. Neither were involved in the actual act or the decision making: Pyro dealt with record keeping and estates and Avid was basically just entertainment. Whether or not Owen believes this is a whole other issue.

The town is doing VERY well in this au. There's no paranoid Avid driving a wedge between people, and they have a lot of organised, knowledgeable people. They're ALSO not losing a whole lot of people vampirism, so they have the numbers. But you also shouldn't underestimate the coven.

They would start desecrating beacons once they've been driven out of town, taking the castle one and trying to keep a few closer ones. I'd say while the town keeps a majority of the beacons consecrated, the coven causes a lot of issues by continuously making them neutral at the same time.

Okay, so this is a parallel of 7x04, right?? Buck takes an action, somebody gets hurt, & he spirals about whether he actually meant to hurt them or not.

I’ve been thinking about the difference between Maddie & Eddie’s reactions for a week already, but tonight sent it home for me.

Maddie said “it’s not like you meant to hurt him.” Even though she doesn’t automatically assume that he did, that’s still her first thought. When Buck hesitates & says he doesn’t know for sure, she immediately scolds him. “That’s not how you get someone’s attention, we don’t hurt the people we care about.” Given her backstory, it makes sense.

Eddie’s automatic thought is, “You saved him.” There’s no doubt in Eddie’s mind that Buck meant to help, not harm. It doesn’t even enter his thought process. When Buck freaks out, Eddie can’t think of why he would be doing that, bc Buck saved Gerrard’s life. What else could have happened?

Buck & Maddie will always see each other the way they did growing up, even if only in a small part of their minds. Maddie is Superman who has everything under control & all the answers, and Buck is the one who reacts rashly & causes damage for a scrap of attention. Their childhood was so intense & they only really had each other, they were literally in the trenches together their entire childhood, so there will always be bias there.

& I’m thinking of Eddie telling Buck in s5 that maybe Chimney knew Maddie better than Buck did. That maybe the partners they have now are able to see them clearer than their siblings.

Eddie’s trust & belief in Buck is steady & unwavering, even when Buck doesn’t believe in himself and it makes me want to SCREAM a little bit bc oh my god.

I have no idea where they’re going with this arc, but WOW I can’t wait.
