Talked A Lot with friend, and they realllyyy helped. I recently realized that I am a lot more aroace than I originally thought. I then went on to realize that although I felt more than friend for both past girlfriends, I never felt genuinely romantic connection. Especially first girlfriend lol... didn't fully realize that "liking" each other meant Romantic Relationship. I've only ever felt more than friend with non-men, but it never was. Romantic.

So. Yeah!! I'm getting more comfortable with the change. I'm really happy though :)))

I still identified that way and in some way I am still a lesbian. I am just changing what I mainly identify as.#I'm still the same sculpture with the same outfit and colors just changing the material and now the sculpture is more firm strong and #overall structurally sound type deal. everything else is the same but the fundamental part changed. the small details are the same #small details now meaning lesbian. in some form I still am. because of how I feel queer platonic. I still identify with it in a way #esp because being a butch lesbian was (and still kind of is) Very Gender for me #what I THOUGHT I was mostly just. is not true. and I am accepting that #changing this is. uncomfortable because it's big. but very freeing. because. it's me. it's more me. aroace!!!#small smalll sprinkle of lesbian. you have to look hard. that part is more of a fun trivia in a way. still there in the queer platonic sense #but what I AM is aroace. if this makes sense. I don't even know if aroace people do that #if they have specifics that they only feel queer platonic with if they do feel that way. I don't know #either way. lesbian is still smallll part in some sense. that community will always be part of me. even if it isn't what I am “made of”.#it's more a place I return to in passing. I still have a room there #I just live in the aroace place now. that is my home. it fits better. it took a while to realize this.#so there's the long (but short) explanation of why I'm keeping Nel and all prev posts and such lol

Before Pride Month comes to an end, I wanted to memorialize my husband unintentionally calling me a bisexual failure at the start of the month. (We laughed about it later, and I wasn't really offended!)

something SO self indulgent solely for the fact that James Ortiz is eligible for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his performance in PHM. Practical effects in movies are so so important to me, and I was SHOCKED to find out Rocky was a puppet and not completely CGI. Idk it just makes me so excited and happy when movies utilize puppetry and prosthetics and real, intricate sets and wire work and take the time to let artists create things by hand because that heart really comes across in the film. I really hope he gets it because that would be absolutely insane.
