my internet on my laptop is being a bitch so while waiting to be able to do my hw have some fluff:

the Seat sets up a choosing ceremony for a baby Yanqing thats gumming on his favorite lion plushie and once they have all the toys in place Qingzu takes him over to the middle as one of the few not actively trying to cheer for him to pick a certain one

puts him down and when the ceremony begins, he doesnt even look at the toys (except the sword, he looked at it for a bit)

but then instead of crawling towards one of the objects, he quite literally takes his first steps to speed-walk then run to Jing Yuan

the entire seat either coos or laughs their ass off at this and they take another 30 minutes to try to get Yanqing back into the middle to pick one of the objects but he keeps squirming and moving around with his newfound ability to walk

ofc he picks the sword eventually to no ones surprise but Jing Yuan still gets teary eyed remembering how he was Yanqing's first choice rather than any object or path

This is the first thing I properly drew digitally and it may not be the best representation of my skills a year after its creation...but i still love it.
