Rhea x Minhkhoa is so fucking funny to me because guuurl you fell in love with that guy??? Good fucking luck.
It’s also just… *sigh* look. I read her story in Batman urban legends. And it’s not very good as a character introduction. I literally have no clue what her personality is aside from she wasn’t good at taking orders. And they kept fkn killing her so we never get a chance to actually get to know her.
It’s a neat gimmick world building wise I guess? But not at the cost of her character cuz like cmon how the hell am I supposed to be like oooh cool she used to date Khoa. when you haven’t even given the lady a personality!
Im even willing to ignore the massive fucking continuity errors where she for some reason knows both Bruce Wayne and minhkhoa khan on a first name basis despite that being fucking impossible. I can chalk that shit up to brain washing given her circumstances.
(But really did you expect me to believe Bruce would walk up to someone during his training years and be like “why hello I’m Bruce Wayne and that guy over there refusing to talk is minhkhoa khan” like??? I’m sorry what?)
HOWEVER I am of the belief that characters journeys are like ships passing each other in the ocean that is their life each going their own way yet learning and impacting each others lives. So I don’t want to fkn dismiss her.
SO I’m going with the hilarious option. I’m going with the option that she fell in love with Khoa yes but is completely misremembering most of her memories given how much of a mess her brain is.
I also believe it’s one sided like in the sense that Rhea was in love with Khoa but like with most things with Khoa the man takes a fascination with you and moves on before he gets attached. At this point the guy had already accidentally grown attached to Bruce and almost mercs the guy cuz of it in Canada which is apparently. *looks at the mess that is the dc continuity* supposed to happen right after their training with Rhea.
So I’d say she dodged a bullet there only to step right into the frying pan of whatever the fuck that program she became a part of was.
God the woman is such a nothing burger of a character that she doesn’t even have a wiki and you expect me to be like awww what a tragic romance. Like come the fuck on.
I’m pissed off on her behalf Because she’s got a cool name and a cool design but WHERE IS HER PERSONALITY?
Not in the fucking comics I’ll tell ya that much.
i always see people here talking about GhostBat but what about Minhkhoa and Rhea Sinha </3
THE WIGHT WITCH / RHEA SINHA
i love clones i love clones i love doomed characters i just went to rhea sinha town recently. very easy read! her story is So Fucking Sad. imagine that every time you remember just the smallest amount of your life and gain control over your own autonomy, someone decides to take it from you and remake you Over and Over.
Imagine the man you fell in love with, after Years and Years, whispers your name and it all comes flooding back, only to then have everything taken from you. Again. she only has 10 appearances, all written by the amazing Ram V:
CATWOMAN (2018) #29 - 31 & #35 - 38
BATMAN: URBAN LEGENDS #11 - 13
What's your opinion on Rhea Sinha aka Wight Witch and would you like to see more of her and her relationship with Khoa and Bruce?
Catwoman #38 - "An Unusual Suspect" (2021)
