i watched this game today from 2013 against the saints where we were behind the whole game but ended up winning by four points in the dying minutes and i was getting SO STRESSED i was like ‘oh MY GOD ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS’ like it didn’t already happen 2 years ago???

Gosh it got really messy, I’m trying to think if there was a post that summed it all up but I don’t think there was. There’s a lot you can read if you go to the nmtd crit tag and scroll through, but basically as a kickstarter perk someone got the BLEURGH script which basically said that Bea/Ben didn’t know Pedro was bi and thus the whole ‘balthazar really likes pedro’ line and joking about setting them up was basically making fun of Balthazar for having a crush on a (supposedly) straight dude. That’s put very simply, so I’d recommend checking out the tag as people made some really important posts about it! There was also some irritation that the script note claimed Balthazar was out because of the ‘not necessarily for the chicks’ line which isn’t actually the representation that people were looking for.
