The second edition of Jane Eyre was dedicated to Thackeray???
Of all the things I expected to see on my first reread of Jane Eyre, I certainly did not expect it to open by singing the praises of Vanity Fair.

February Wrap Up
I’m quite ready for February to be over. Even though it’s a short month, it seems like it has been going on forever. I just want spring to come. No more snow, no more dreary weather, no more cold. Let’s get some sunshine and warmth please!
Books Read: 6
I once again read six books this month. Half were for school and half were for fun. My favorite was The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, which was amazing. My least favorite was Alphabet of Thorn. It wasn’t bad, I just found it a bit disappointing.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot - 5 stars
Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray - 4 stars
Everything Below the Waist: Why Health Care Needs a Feminist Revolution by Jennifer Block - 4 stars
Lyric Poems by John Keats - 4 stars
Alphabet of Thorn by Patricia A. McKillip - 3 stars
The Wicker King by K. Ancrum - 4.5 stars

On the Blog:
And there’s really not much here. I took a bit of an unintended hiatus from blogging. I’m having a really hard time balancing school, blogging, and the YouTube channel. So I’m kind of in an adjustment period right now. But I will be trying harder to get things posted in March!

And in contrast, we have quite a lot here. I’m really enjoying YouTube as a platform, and I’m meeting some lovely new people. Please head over there to check out my videos!
