Sure, they'd be upset and more than a little angry and frustrated, but not for very long. It's not Alistair's fault he's a shit babysitter, and the Jones Boys can never be mad at Ivy for too long. She'll probably be comforted with chocolate, hugs, and her cat.
Mechi and Kwahu will probably vow not to leave the colony again without calling XiaoLiang, Flapjack, Melissa, or someone else to watch Ivy first. Or they'll wait until Alistair awakens.
Random question: Any of you guys have video games you don't care for anymore and want to get rid of? Lately I've been working on the gaps in my library, and I'm a little exhausted of retro shops trying to rip me off. If there's any interest, I can post my wishlist and hopefully we can start a discussion.
I finally got my external disc drive!! Turns out, my laptop running on Windows 11 does not actually have video-watching software already installed. I had to download yet another app. BUT that app seems to work just fine, and I almost cry-laughed when I popped in a DVD and saw the images actually playing on my screen.
(That, and the DVD I picked for a test run was Jurassic Park. The music from that movie is AWESOME.)
Now to rip all the CDs I've collected during the Year Without A Disc Drive. There are at least 15, I think?
