Miss Recluse- One of Black Hole's three sidekicks. Full tilt diva
The Magician- Black Hole's second sidekick. Besties with Miss Recluse.
Mr. Cyanide- Black Hole's third sidekick that becomes a bigger threat villain. Mad scientist with a deadly knack for chemistry.
The Snow Queen- Big bad in the last three books. Mainly uses her ice to control tech and people. Only an urban myth until the last two books.
Boss Lady- Mafia boss who's working for/with the Snow Queen. Big stronk woman with the muscles of a strongman
Blood Debt- Mainly a loner vigilante anti-hero that kills people who have done wrong. Does jobs for the Snow Queen. The Grim Reaper if he were in a biker gang.
Nightmare- small time villain that doesn't actually hurt anyone. Her powers can put people to sleep and she's a really smart engineer. More of an anti-hero side character if you squint
Plot
A bunch of rookie teenage superheroes and their journey to becoming family, protectors of the city, and eventually defenders of the world over the course of five years and five books- following their adventures in crime-fighting, chore rotations, grocery shopping, fighting and protecting each other like siblings, and saving the world.

Plot:
Lyssa Leren fought all her life to hide the power she was born with, for being the sin of wrath has more dangers than one knows. After she turns 19 she was supposed to go to the Hellfire temple to meet the other sins, when they were ambushed by Fear, who shattered their visions of a peaceful rule. She and the others must go to Avaidia, save their kingdoms and end a war before all of Avaidia is destroyed.

With a traumatic past, and being a master assassin, she must learn to accept who she is, take the crown, and save the ones she loves.

🌹 about my work 🌹
My writing tends to skew towards adult/emerging adult. I LOVE various flavors of fantasy (high, low, urban, action-adventure, Gothic). I like to spend time crafting intricate worlds (lore bibles are some of my favorite things to write) and magic systems.
My favorite works (to write and to read) all include some form of romance. I write romantic love and attraction between all genders, but ladies craving each other carnally is like music to me. LOL. So, some of my work features sexuality/intimacy, but this certainly varies widely from project to project (and I certainly will not be sharing this sort of content on tumblr, for reasons that should be obvious.lol).
I love to include elements of complex relationships in my writing–romantic, platonic, or familial. Human relationships are complicated and messy and awesome and frequently painful–and it’s important to me that my work reflects that.
I try particularly to explore in my work the lives and relationships of queer women of color (particularly Black & biracial women). I am always open to fantasy, romance, and sci-fi recs written by Black authors :)

Story Role: Protagonist/Love Interest, the skiddish one, the unlikely and accidental hero, genre awareness, the logical one
Age: 17-18 yrs
Appearance: Dark brown skin and eyes. short, dark curly black hair. Kind of on the small and scrawny side. Usually wearing nice noble clothing, orange or yellow colors. A late night masquerade full of mystery and wonder and guilded clothing and masks and trying to escape it all vibes.
Strengths: intelligent, knows when to stay out of trouble
Weaknesses: avoids any and all conflict and confrontation at all costs
Additional Notes: very gay boy, black, likes to read and play chess, that one character in a movie who has the common sense to not go anywhere near a suspicious noise while the other characters want to check it out

Story Role: Protagonist/Love Interest, the peacemaker, the disappointment Prince, the compassionate and kind ruler, the ruler nobody wanted but everyone needed
Age: 18 or 19 yrs old
Appearance: Curly brown hair. Lean but strong. Light brown skin. Usually wearing simple robes, hidden under a big blanket like cloak. Late night storm with a crackling fireplace in a cozy castle while reading aloud to another who has fallen asleep vibes.
Strengths: peacemaker, intelligent in politics and negotiations, compassionate
Weaknesses: softspoken, doesn't stand up for himself very well
Additional Notes: OCD, mixed latino, some anxiety in there too, disappointment to his warlord parents, kind and sweet
