“do you believe in magic?” witch!renjun asks you.

you scoff in response, “of course not silly. magic isn’t real!” you let out a sad laugh followed by a sigh before continuing, “i learned that when i found out card tricks are just math problems and flipping cards. it really upset me though. i really wanted to be a witch, you know, like in harry potter?”

witch!renjun looks over to you with a sad smile, internally he feels bad about what he was going to tell you but decides to tell you anyways, even though it’s really supposed to be kept a secret.

“why the random question?” you ask.

“oh.. just.. wondering i guess.” he replies quietly.

you nod in response and a few minutes of silence go by before witch!renjun decides to break it again.

“so,” he coughs, getting your attention. “how about i show you a secret?”

[2:13pm] “Babe! what does this do?” You say as you hold up a jar filled with a mysterious and murky green liquid, “Nothing,, just be careful,,” You hear Witch!Renjun mumble as he focuses on writing with his ink and quill, you sigh, annoyed at the lack of attention you are receiving. “Babeeee.” You groan when you hear a lack of response from the boy in the room, you make your way over to him, trying to be as quiet as possible, although it wouldn’t matter anyway as he was way to focused on his writings. When you place a soft kiss on his neck you can feel him jump slightly and make a noise of surprise. He finally looks up at you with a soft smile on his pretty pink lips, god you loved those lips. “What was that for?” you hum, pondering your answer. “Oh yea, I remember! Because I love you!” You see his face start turning a light shade of pink and hear a slight giggle leaves his lips as he hides his hot face in your neck. “I love you too.” although muffled by his face in your neck, you understood, and couldn’t help but smile.

Apophis

Witch!Renjun meets you in a coffee shop that’s spelled to be invisible to mortals. Yet somehow here you were, seated at the counter with your nose buried in a book. Human.

You seemed to fit in if one didn’t look too closely. With your green woolen coat and plain bag, you could be mistaken for any of the nearby hedge witches.

But you had taken Renjun’s usual seat, and as he pouted about his cozy nook already being taken, he noticed how soft your aura was. How dim for another witchling. How human.

How human?!

Renjun rubbed his eyes, wondering if some mischevious sprite had glamoured his vision to make him see this. But the scene before him remained the same. 

“Strange,” he whispers, before deciding to go introduce himself.
