For all the Witcher fans out there I present you the theme from an early 2000s Polish Witcher TV series. The series was both awesome and horrible but it is somehow classic now so I think those who know it will be happy to hear it again and those who don’t might like it :)

Part I: Metal songs | Part II: Non Metal songs

In my last post about Witcher songs (Part II, see above) I asked for your additions, especially for more Eastern European/Russian songs. And my friend @happyficwriterbird delivered, a LOT. I encourage YOU to still send me polish and Ukrainian artists with witcher themes (there is one Ukrainian band on list I and polish are on list II).

First of all, they send me this amazing playlist containing more than FIFTY Witcher themed songs by Russian songwriter Yana Ainsanova. As an example, let's take this Geralt/Triss love song (you can hate Triss as much as you want, I like this song!):

Seems to me, a lot of the Russian songs are somehow sad. Like this one by Renfie, a song about Dettlaff and Syanna:

Sadira Astikl is a Russian singer and vocal coach, however, this song about Vernon Roche is available in Russian and in english.

The next band's name translates to "Tales of the black city", and this is a Witcher song which I'm not quite sure what it is about. @happyficwriterbird leave a note here to tell us. Is it possibly about Olgierd?

This one I really like a lot. The band's name is "Fun mode" and this is a quite sad song about witchers in general.

More sad Russian Witcher music incoming... Dziewanna is definitely a name you should look into if you like the Russian stuff!

I think I posted this one before, a Nilfgaard song, this must be on the list, of course!

I also learned about some more non-Russian songs I'll have to add to the other list later. And of course, there is still a LOT more than this! The Russians have also a ton of fan songs for the Witcher series, which I already said I wouldn't cover, but if you're interested I'd throw some names.

I thought I would put together a list of witcher-affiliated songs for fun and profit!

 The fun is that they’re good songs, and the profit is that next time you find yourself with a bard in need of a ballad, you can use one of these! I didn’t include the obvious, like Toss a Coin or Her Sweet Kiss, but all of these songs appear in some form in the show or game!

And god it fucking hurts Jaskier that Geralt doesn’t see him as anything more than a fuck, something to use

Jaskier’s not a fuck object, but he can’t, can’t let go of Geralt. Because this,

The hell he subjects himself to, letting Geralt knock on his door, hunger in his eyes. Jaskier stands aside, let’s him in, because he has too, his body aches, needs to be touched by Geralt. To have Geralt’s fingers scraping into his skin, leaving red and purple as his only mark on Jaskier. There’s nothing else for him to give,

Geralt gets quiet, staring right back at Jaskier through the slightly cracked door,
