ā” Magickal Self CareĀ ā”
Sometimes taking care of yourself is hard. I understand that. But itās the little things that you can do that can help you feel so much better, even if others think that they donāt mean much. Here are some things you can do to better help take care of yourself on the days that are feeling rough and not that great.
Drink plenty of Water. Yes, I mean this. Weāre just very complicated, temperamental plants after all. If you donāt like water, might I suggest adding fresh fruit slices or make tea? Essentially, please stay hydrated friends. How to make it magickal: I have my post here about tea and my post here with some herbs and such that you can incorporate for a really nice drink.
Pamper Yourself. Take an hour or two to love yourself. Really brush out your hair, massage your skin with some oil, soak in a nice, hot bath-- You might not think you deserve it but genuinely, you do. How to make it magickal: affirmations are a really easy way to do this. Beauty oils, protection oils, etc to baths and such are also a way to make pampering yourself just a bit more special.
Clean and Cleanse Your Space. This is probably the hardest to do, even for me, and I get it. But even putting away a couple of things-- Folding a few shirts or pants, moving some notebooks or books, throwing away some trash, can really help. Then light some incense or spray some or your favorite perfume and feel good that you completed a small task. How to make it magickal: Smoke cleanse, if you can tolerate it. Burn your favorite incense. Spray your favorite perfume. Use salt to cleanse your space.
Open Your Windows or Go For A Walk. Fresh air is important. Air out your bedroom, your home, etc and if thatās not possible at the moment, take the time to go for a walk. Enjoy the outside. Donāt beat yourself up for finding enjoyment in small things. Sometimes small things is all we have and thatās OK. How to make it magickal: Collect things that you find interesting along the way. Take note of any interesting plants and/or animals. If youāre looking out your window, listen for any interesting sounds.
Allow Yourself to Rest. You cannot heal if you do not rest. Let me repeat myself: YOUR BODY DOES ITS HEALING WHILE IT IS RESTING. If you are ill-- mentally, physically, emotionally, etc-- you need to rest or else you cannot heal. Do not be ashamed for doing such. People who donāt suffer as you do wonāt understand so their words shouldnāt mean as much. How to make it magickal: have a special pillow or stuffed animal to cuddle. Have wards nearby that will protect you while youāre resting. Have your favorite crystals near by.
Look alive, witches! The new episode of #WitchWays is now available. This month, it's my favorite wealth spell, "Straw Into Gold" from The Sisters Grimmoire. It's simple, it's stackable, it's EFFECTIVE. Grab your bobbins and thread and give it a try! Don't forget to rate and review on Apple Podcasts, check out my Patreon to find out how you can support the show, and give some love to my wonderful colleagues on the Nerd and Tie Podcast Network. šš . . . #witchcraft #witchesofinstagram #podcasts #podcastrecs #witchythings #witchlife #pagan #witches #wealthspells #moneyspells #spells #magic #witchpodcast https://www.instagram.com/p/CO-i4kIHFPm/?igshid=1irj7sm020xsk
Hello Everyone!
Hello, and pleased to meet you. I was on Tumblr before, a really long time ago. I got scared away from the Internet (and witchcraft!) for a while after some bad things happened IRL, but now Iām back and looking forward to getting to know everyone! A little bit about me...Ā
Hey, my name is Chris, which is short for Christinia. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Iām still in school but I hope to finally graduate this year. I like art, especially watercolor, and love watching anime and action adventures shows and movies. Iāve been studying witchcraft for a few years now, but I know I still have a lot to learn.
Iām not Pagan or Wiccan, so Iām pretty much just a non-denominational witch-in-training. Iām not religious, but I do like reading about religions, especially ancient ones. My momās side of the family is from Iceland, so I kind of want to know more about Icelandic traditions, too.
I have an online mentor called Leda who has been kind enough to give me witchcraft lessons, and I have learned a lot from her already. We met when I found her email address in a book on witchcraft I borrowed from the library (and ended up keeping). I sent her an email, and after corresponding for a few years, she agreed to take me on as a student, so I talk to her regularly and study with her.
So far, Iāve been experimenting with elemental spells, charms, and candle magick, but I also want to learn about divination and all kinds of other things. I want to learn everything there is to know about magick and be the best witch ever! :-)
It would be really great if other witches could fill my dash with awesome witchery, lol!
So, if you post:
Spellcraft
Sigils
Herbal lore
Tarot or other divination
Anything witchy, basically!
Reblog or like this, and Iāll follow you!
